Got this for my wife to use, and she absolutely fell in love with it after our Blender of 6 years finally broke, this thing is strong, but it is loud so take that into account. The IQ settings are cool because spending on which thing you use it lights up the option so there is no confusion. the blades are extremely sharp so be very careful. My recommendation would be if you use it for anything make sure you rinse out the blades in warm water right after using it to avoid cleaning them manually or throw them in the dishwasher if you can.
the 2 smaller cups are great and the perfect size if you're doing a single serving for a milk shake and the large ones are even better for family. if you are going to shred chicken in the short one, make sure you don't let it run for too long or else your chicken will come out almost like a paste.
my end review is that if you're thinking of getting it don't think about it too much and just do it, well worth its price. compared to a Vitamix this i fell is better for the price.

This is a great blender that came with so many options like the food processor and single serve cup. Love that the blender blade is full length and not like old traditional blenders that just had blades in the base. Read some reviews on here that commented on the base cracking lose from the rest of the appliance. The base has suction cups on the bottom of it to hold it in place on your counter. If you don't grab the sides of the blender and squeeze to release the suction cups then yes the blender would crack from the base. If used as directed though it is sturdy and a great feature. It's super easy to clean too because everything can go into the dishwasher. Would definitely recommend.

After having roughly 5 different blenders, this one is the best blender I have come across to date, especially when price is taken into consideration. I say this after having owned a Vitamix blender as well. It has seamlessly handled everything I have blended thus far without any issue. I use it daily to make my breakfast smoothies. What I throughly enjoy is the 2 pitchers plus the smoothie cup.

I originally bought system 12 years ago and had used that one weekly until all the pieces finally started to break over this past year. So we decided to buy a new one because of how frequently I use this. This newer model is easier to clean, significantly quieter than the original I owned, the to go cups and lids are bigger and better and the pre-set settings are a fantastic addition. Extremely happy.

Its nice that this unit accepts the pitcher and also single sized cup. So I can use this same base and not have to dig out another blender base for when I do make myself a milkshake. Its just done in the daytime and now everyone know what I'm doing and runs in to "try a bite" Pro tip, make the kids a smoothie first and they might be so occupied drinking that smoothie they hopefully wont pay attention to me making a milkshake.

The power this thing has is amazing. It can blend/process anything to total smoothness. Very easy to use. Only drawbacks: a little difficult to clean the processor bowl, to many nooks and crannies; it is a little loud (OK, a lot loud.) and there is no hole in the top of the processor for adding liquid. Other than those things, this was a great investment.

The biggest problem is that there’s no slicer/grater appliance can be bought for this model. I looked everywhere and the only option is to buy a totally separate device just to slice veggies. None sense. Rarely we make smoothies with this model and that’s mostly it. Don’t recommend.

The containers are bulky. Takes up a lot of counter space and with the mixer on it does not fit under the counter. One of the most important uses for me is grinding dehydrated sourdough into powder. This machine cannot grind it! I am returning it as have not heard from vendor.

2.0 out of 5 stars the blades are as dull as a butter knife after 3 months

when I first got this blender and cleaned it I nearly chopped off the top of my finger the blade was so sharp and I was being careful after reading other reviews of people saying the same thing. It has been three months and the only thing I have used this for is smoothies and the blades are as dull as a butter knife. My smoothies had been getting progressively less smooth haha. When I took the blade and put a piece of paper next to it to see if it would cut it like it had when I first got it the paper just bent. I then very carefully touched it and the blade was not sharp AT ALL!!! It was so dull the only way it could possibly have been cutting anything at all was with the speed and the fact that the blades were in the way. Even the spinach in my smoothies is not all blended. I can't be more disappointed in this and have left a message on amazon and hope to here back. This was a birthday present and it is especially disappointing when a present stops working. Ninja, I thought your blades were supposed to be so sharp, what happened here? Please make this right.

2.0 out of 5 stars instructions for cleaning cause problems
Reviewed in the United States ???? on February 28, 2022
Style: (2) Single-Serve Cups + PitcherVerified Purchase
The instructions for cleaning say that lids and other parts (other than the base) should be washed in warm soapy water or the upper rack of the dishwasher. I purchased this because I wanted to be able to wash the lid and containers. However, in just one washing (even before use) water droplets were stuck in the handles of the blending vessels, and the lids continued to drip water after a couple of days air drying and repeated shaking. I messaged the facebook group for Ninja, and the dialogue didn't make much sense. They stood by their washing instructions, but also said that getting water inside the parts was inevitable. They also gave an alternative suggestion of wiping with a moist cloth to avoid the problem. NONE OF THIS was in the manual or other instructions.
They also said there is NO WAY to get the water out of the handles and lids, once it gets in.
I'm not afraid of a little water inside plastic parts, but I suspect that in the long run, this moisture can cause bacterial and fungal growth that will be impossible to clean. If you read the facebook group, this seems to be a pretty common concern.

I did everything as directed. No hot was ever used. Hand washed. Treated it like delicate china. Then the drip, drip started and I noticed a hairline fracture right across the bottom. Guess what? To replace it costs the same as purchasing a new one?? How stupid is that? A plastic pitcher with no motor and metal parts costs $99!! Don't buy this product. Get one with a heavy glass pitcher. Guess I'll just have to get out our 20 year old blender and use that again.

Bought this and received it around December 2021. We use it multiple times a week for shakes.
Come March (4 months later) and the blender container\pitcher cracks on the bottom while blending. I assumed this would just be replaced within warranty with no issues, which is technically true. Only caveat is you have to pay for shipping, which is about 20% of the product's price.
I can't endorse this model of warranty as this essentially marks-up the original product price. I might've made different choices if I knew my blender would break within 4 months and I'd be out of one for a week or so plus have to pay more money, I may have gone with a different brand. Overall, disappointing.
The product does work great when it isn't broken.

1.0 out of 5 stars Was thrilled until the food processor bowl broke...
Reviewed in the United States ???? on January 10, 2022

My family's story reads similar to other 1-star reviews. We did a lot of research. Ninja sounded like the best product, so we bought the Ninja BN801 in November 2020. The blades are super sharp. It's easy to use and clean. The blender and the smaller cups work great. However, THE FIRST TIME I USED THE PROCESSOR BOWL, IT CRACKED. And let me preface, we didn't use it for several months, so really, we'd only used the other components for a few weeks when the bowl broke on its virgin use.
Now, I'm starting to see a lot of reviews on this product page and on the pages of replacement processor bowls on Amazon that warranty doesn't cover the bowl (even if we still had warranty), replacement bowls are expensive (I agree from what I've seen...as much as $80+), and more than one review says that the bowl needed to be replaced more than once. With the warranty being only a year and the bowls being so flimsy, you're sure to lose money eventually. A lot of products have a 1-year warranty, but most don't break right after a year, esp. when it's a name that's supposed to be as well-respected as Ninja. No matter how well everything else functions, for such an essential component to the product's function to break so consistently and the manufacturer to be so cavalier, is not only disappointing, it's disrespectful of the customers. My mother and I feel like we were robbed. We will keep it as a blender so it's not a TOTAL waste of money, but I refuse to keep lining the manufacturer's pockets with the cost of overpriced replacement bowls. We will find another processor that doesn't have such cheap, poorly made parts. I hope mine and other customers' reviews save someone else from the same bad experience. A lot of people are struggling during the pandemic. No one has money to burn, esp. now.
Don't buy this product. Maybe it will break and maybe it won't, but there's a lot of them breaking, too many in my opinion for a $200+ appliance.

I was impressed by the Ninja ads and decided to give this blender a try. I was disappointed with many things about it but the deal breaker was the very sharp blades. If you have any clumsy or “tend to be rushed” people in your household, this is NOT the blender for you. I use a lot of fresh greens in my smoothies — the big cone insert with the sharp blades that protrudes thru the center of the blender jug made it hard for me to pack in everything. And cleaning is a chore! You have to CAREFULLY remove the cone thing with the sharp blades and wash it carefully with a brush before washing the main blender jug; the top has all kinds of ridges that makes it also difficult to clean. It is also a very large blender and doesn’t fit on my counter under my cupboards. Suffice it to say I didn’t have a good experience and returned it.

But as I was transitioning to veggie liquid diet I needed a larger smoothie maker. I bought this after watching reviews, but the largest jar that comes with it make absolutely rubbish smoothies. Smoothies are not creamy and well blended. They come out with chunks of fruits and veggies and pulps and pieces of leafy veggies. I would not recommend this if your main purpose is to buy it for smoothies.

I was not provided an email or tracking number even though I provided and email and phone number and am now receiving spam to both. I followed up on December 3rd after hearing nothing from the company to find out that the part had been sent to the wrong address. When I called ninja after the bottom came off of The chopping bowl, they answered the phone said their phones weren't working and hung up.
As it turns out the bottom part that rotates the blade fell off of the chopping bowl in the dishwasher onto the heating element which ruined it.I have not had this for very long. I had a $30 blender that lasted me 7 years before breaking. This one took all but 4 months to break. I pressed the power button one day on the blender base and whatever cheap materials they use snapped. When I called Sharkninja they wanted to charge me $20 to ship the new base. Today the package showed up and they sent me a piece to a vaccine cleaner instead. Save your money, buy from a better company. This is not a quality product or company.

1.0 out of 5 stars Cheap plastic, poor design

I purchased two of these recently and the plastic container cracked on both after just a few uses. The container was always carefully hand washed. Also, the way the container and lid are designed, water gets in them and it is impossible to completely dry them off after washing them.
I didn't realize how poorly this blended my smoothies until I replaced the bad Ninja blender with a new Vitamix blender. There is no comparison of the blending power of the Vitamix versus the lower-powered Ninja. The Ninja is much cheaper in more than just price.
