Short review:
An upgrade in every way to their previous earbuds. Better noise cancellation, better charging case, at least as good of fit (it feels just as secure as the last ones in my ears). Useable for long periods of time without discomfort (the previous ones would hurt my ear after awhile), I have used these from full to zero twice now without any notable discomfort. The sound is at least on par with the previous version, my brain says it's better but my mind says it's about the same.
Longer review:
Noise cancellation has always been good on Bose products, and these buds somehow improve that significantly over the last version. Very subjective benchmark, but I find that with these new buds I have my phone volume set between 3-5 ticks from silent; with the previous version, that was 8-11. That may sound like a lot, but I suspect these buds are a bit louder at the same volume setting than the previous version. I am certain listening volumes are lower though, so this is still an improvement.
Related to the noise cancellation, noise pass-through!
My primary use case is in an office environment, where I may need to talk to someone at random times. It is still just as easy to switch from cancelling to pass-through, so no worry there. The sound of my own voice comes through a lot more naturally than with the previous version; helpful for conversations, my own voice always sounded strange coming through the last buds.
Fit and comfort:
Here is the biggest improvement in my opinion. They managed to make these comfortable for long use without compromising the fit. YMMV of course, but for my ears they are just as secure as the last buds. I can now wear them from full battery to zero, something I could not do because of the pain that built up if I tried to do so with the old version.
Audio quality:
I don't have much to say here other than that these are at least on par with the older version in terms of how good music sounds. Very subjective obviously. It's bluetooth audio, so by no means audiophile standard. Good enough, unless you absolutely must have crystal high-fidelity audio.
Accessories:
Pretty standard accessories, you get 3 different sizes of tips and wings to fit your ears. A short USB A to C cable for charging. And, of course, the charging case for the buds. Massive upgrade on that last item if you compare to the previous version. Smooth edges, pocketable shape. Much closer to airpods-style. This might have been a make or break point for a lot of folks so it's good they recognized the need for a more pocketable charging case.
Bluetooth Connectivity/technical issues:
Not something I usually even mention, but I feel like I must. First bluetooth connection is super easy, as soon as you open the case for the first time it goes into pairing mode. If you want to pair to more devices, you need to have the lid open or it won't go into pairing mode. Not the end of the world, just a strange choice. I have had some intermittent noise issues, not like white noise but a sort of scratching electronic sound. It disappears the moment you start playing something and isn't usually present when you are not, but it is worth mentioning. I reckon it has to do with the noise cancellation, some kind of feedback loop maybe? I don't know. They elimitated a similar issue I experienced every time I put in the last version, and it has been replaced with a much less intrusive problem. Guess that's an upgrade? lol.
Overall, straight upgrade to the previous version. Whether the price difference is worth it is hard to determine, but if the $50 difference is enough to give pause you might consider going another route (like getting some cheap IEMs and a USB/Bluetooth DAC, you can save $100 and have better audio quality at the same time, without sacrificing much more than active noise cancelling. IEMs block a lot of sound passively, and they sound better. Just saying!). I am happy to have both, but that's a luxury many can't afford. If pure convenience is what you want, go for these; if you have time to kill for the research to save money, look elsewhere.

5.0 out of 5 stars Thrilled with my first pair of wireless earbuds.

This is my very first purchase of wireless earbuds (well, I purchased 3 others at same time, to compare them to each other). I did a decent amount of research in a short period of time, and landed on three of the highest rated. These, the Sony WF-1000XM4 and the Beats Fit Pro. I'll start by stating that I haven't felt compelled enough to actually write a review in years. I was so afraid these would disappoint me based on other reviews and Reddit threads, but after just a couple minutes listening to music with these and the Sony earbuds - I had determined an easy winner. I didn't even bother opening the Beats Fit Pro because I knew there was no way they wound better than Bose. My previous earbuds were Bose Soundsport (a gift from someone), so maybe I just have some bias because I'm accustomed to the sound that Bose delivers. My only other prior experience with ANC wireless earbuds is Apple Airpods Pro (I think first generation?) and all I remember when I tried them is instantly thinking the music quality wasn't even close to my Soundsport. Which is a good segue into my Pros and Cons list.
PROS:
1. Sound/Music quality. I'm not educated on all the components of sound/music, I don't know the exact science of what's what, I only know what sounds good to me. I know when music sounds "full bodied" and that's how I'd describe these/the Bose sound. The bass especially. I love Bose bass.
1. Comfort. One of my biggest gripes with the Bose Soundsport was the fit/the wing tips. I HATE the wing tips, even with the smallest size they would cause soreness in my left ear in less than hour. In contrast, I LOVE the way these fit/feel. I have worn them for 3+ hours with zero discomfort. And that's with the size that they came with, I haven't even tried the other sizes yet to see if they can be even more comfortable.
2. Noise Cancelling. Again, I'm not highly educated/experienced in this area (Soundsport didn't have ANC), but I can tell these do it well. I blow-dried my hair while listening to music and I couldn't hear the blowdryer at all (I did have my music up to max/near max volume), but still. I did try to compare this feature with Sony's, and either Sony's ANC was malfunctioning (I researched and troubleshooted), or it was just really bad in comparison to Bose.
3. Easy set-up/sync. Scanned a QR code, downloaded the app, and boom, I was connected. I've had zero connection issues. (I have a Galaxy S21+).
4. Aesthetic. I like how they look. I didn't like the weird knob thingy on the Sony, and I don't like the very obvious "b" Beats logo that's on the Bits Fit Pro, so I am extra grateful that I ended up liking these the most, because I also like how they look the most.
CONS:
1. Hiss/static noise. One of the biggest complaints I saw people have with these is the faint static/hiss noise (when no music/sound is playing), particularly when in Aware mode (ANC turned off). And yes, mine make the noise, and it can be heard even if music is playing at a very low volume, and yes it's annoying, but when I considered how infrequently I would have my earbuds in but not have any music/sound playing (or have volume low enough to hear the static), I determined that's really not a deal breaker for me, and it doesn't outweigh the pros.
2. At first they were a little difficult to remove from the case, but I have quickly gotten better at knowing where to grab/how to remove.
NEUTRAL FOR NOW/WILL UPDATE LATER:
1. Call/mic quality? In my research I also came across a lot of complaints about call quality, people say that the other person on the line can barely hear them/there's a lot of noise, etc. For me, I literally didn't even consider this a factor in my decision making, because I barely care. It's not my primary purpose or use for my wireless earbuds. However, I'll eventually test it out and will update my review later with my experience.
2. Touch controls. I'm new to this, so it could just be a learning curve, but every so often I have trouble getting the touch controls to respond or do exactly what I want. I like it, I think it's neat, and I'm sure I'll get better at it, but I also expect touch controls in general to be finicky on occasion.
CONCLUSION:
While I would recommend these to anyone, I do believe the best choice for everyone is going to be different, and that it's important to know what your priorities are, what annoys you more, etc.
For me personally, the primary purpose of my earbuds is for enjoying music for relatively long periods of time, oftentimes while engaging in physical activity/chores, so sound/music quality and comfort are my two greatest priorities, so for my purposes, I am absolutely thrilled with these.

Right now, I must own at least four different kinds of earbuds, ranging from Samsung Earbuds Pro to Sennheiser Momentum to Soundcore Life P3, and so on.
I am in the airline business, and frequent travel is a must. My go-to headphones for travel are the Sony WH-1000XM4. They are over-the-ear and excellent in ANC and battery life.
However, I also wanted in-ear buds with decent ANC for workouts and airplane rides when my over-the-ear phones got tiresome or on shorter trips.
Here is my problem: the creator decided to bless me with ear canals, the size you can stick your thumb in. So none of the before-mentioned buds, with their included silicone tips, fit and sealed my ear canals. The result was hardly any ANC and a tiny sound with no bass. The only thing that would work for me is to purchase the largest Comply Foam Tips. They would work better, but now the Earbuds would not fit in their charging case, having me take the foam tips on and off every time I used them, making it a constant pain.
The Bose from the start sounded way better than the rest, and after trying out all the options of buds and bands, with all sorts of different insert techniques (frustration city), I found a combination with the large buds and small bands to get a somewhat decent seal. The test in the app showed green on both buds, but the ANC still had no "wow" factor. Running the vacuum was way louder compared to my Sony over-the-ears.
When I ordered the Bose Quiet Comfort II, I also had the foresight to order the separate XS and XL earbud kit. It arrived today, and after installing the XL Ear Buds, it has become a game changer. "WOW" all the way. Super ANC (the noise running the vacuum is almost not present) and a vast improvement in the sound quality. These are now right up there with my Sony WH-1000XM4.
There finally is peace, and the search is over.
If you have similar issues, buy these earphones and get the additional earplugs kit.

The other day right before a business trip I managed to lose one of my Samsung Galaxy Buds2 Pro, and was ready to order a replacement pair. As far as I knew, they were great - except that I could never get the fit quiet right, no matter what replacement size (and brand) tips I tried. Which means that a yawn or sometime talking was enough for one to fall out, and when I went on runs, it was always a little iffy.
Being a Bose fan, I decided to try these out. I own the Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700, which were a must on long flights as the above mentioned buds did not cancel the noise quiet as much as I would like, which I attributed to being a bud. I was hesitant as I have had some connection issues with bose (when it connects to two devices), but in the end I opted for these.
Hands down, these are the best purchase ever. Out of the box, the fit was great. I can yawn, shake my head, run, etc. and both buds feel secure. Even better, I barely notice that they are there.
The noise cancelling is the best I have ever experienced - better than my now three year old Bose 700 over the hear headphones. On the plane, a simple touch goes from "aware" when Im ordering a drink" to "noise cancellation" which is outstanding - even the PA annnouncements are severely muffled and very low decible. While I have not played with creating new modes, know that you can if you have particular needs for environments.
The touch controls are intuitive and easy to use - somehow I find it easier than with the Samsung buds and Bose over ear headphones, but maybe I am just bias and excited with these new ones.
And the sound quality? Also amazing. I'm no expert on this front, but I can say it is superior to both my over the ear Bose (which to me were the gold standard), misc. bluetooth speakers I have, and the samsung buds. I cannot describe it.
As for connectivity issues - so far all is good, though I am not sure I know all the details yet (like if they can connect to two devices and the auto connection).
One thing that made me hesitate was how waterproof they are, but in the end, I realized at most they would experience rain, maybe a quick drop in the snow (not likely as I'd have a hat or headband on), and sweat. These are rated for those kinds of water interactions. I've never droped headphones or earbuds in water or needed them to survive being submerged, and I do not see that changing, so I am not worried.
Overall, I would say they are worth the increased price over others.

I have the first Gen Apple AirPods and AirPods Pro, but I really didn’t like them. The AirPods fit loosely and required me to raise the volume to get good sound. The Pros fit terribly (always fell out) and had this weird crackling noise in the background. I purchased some over-ear headphones thinking they would be better for my workouts, but I hated their size, the compression on my ears, and I would occasionally forget to grab them in the morning. Though usually an Apple girl, the poor performance of both pods had me looking at alternatives and purchasing the Bose. Man, what a difference. These fit perfectly. I did all sorts of chores around the house and garden and not once did they fall out. Plus, after I bought a case for them to attach to my key ring, no more worried about leaving them behind. The noise cancellation isn’t as good as my Pros but the sound quality is very good. So far I haven’t had any pairing issues with my iPhone, which I was worried about since stepping away from an Apple replacement. Very happy with my purchase.

The best thing about these earbuds is the sound quality. They’re Bose. Of course the sound is superb. And you can customize it if that’s your thing. More bass? Less? No problem.
The second best thing about this set is the noise canceling feature. It completely wipes out the noise around you. Great if you’re in a plane or at the gym, or in the room with your hubby who’s watching something obnoxious on the TV and you’d rather listen to your book or podcast. Not so great if you’re out jogging. You need your ears on alert in that situation. Please ladies!! Don’t run alone and don’t run with noise cancellation mode on!! If you still want your music and awareness on, you can do that with a tap. There is a way to adjust the settings so that the “aware” feature does not amplify outside sounds.
Third best feature is the easy control while buds are in place. Taps and swipes do it all: volume, fast forward, rewind, stop, start, aware on/off.
The final feature that I like is the app you have to download. Use the app to set up your buds and to customize the features. I am 67 years old and was able to do all the setup quite easily—without the help of my grandchildren, lol!
Bonus: the battery lasts a long, long time!!
The ONLY thing I don’t like about these earbuds is that they are not comfortable for sleeping in. I like to fall asleep to a book or podcast on a timer. For that I go back to my airpods, as they easily sit on my ears without pain through the night if needed.
I think you will be pleasantly surprised by the lightness of these buds and the ease of operation. They come with 3 different sized sets of ear pieces for a perfect custom fit. You may have to take some time to figure out which combo works best for you.

Amazing fit and audio. Reliable, long-distance Bluetooth connection. Rarely have issues with it. Does require app installation on device. Relatively painless setup, however, the app isn't all that great for reliably detecting the earphones. (I.e. can connect to phone and function just fine, but the app itself won't detect the earphones are available). Pricey, but worth it for an audiophile like myself. Long-lasting battery and charging case. Instructions for light meanings were clear once I Googled the details. Had mine for a few months and use them all the time.
Quiet Mode is amazing. Standing next to a busy road; can't hear the cars. Aware Mode is alright. What sounds it chooses to pipe in are a little amusing. (I.e. bathroom w/ fan, can hear, then when flushing can't hear fan, can hear flush) for actual "awareness" I'd just recommend removing one headphone. Downside: left earphone cannot operate if right earphone goes to sleep. (I.e. if you want to only use 1 earphone, must use right)
Case is a little chunky, but portable with bag or large pocket. Battery life long enough to leave case behind for ~3-4 hour trip. Possibly longer, haven't tested.
Presumably fairly drop proof. I am clumsy and have dropped both several times. (I do try to be careful. "Several" is like 5-8 total, from about 5&half feet, separately not at the same time.) I haven't noticed decrease is quality or function.
Tap gently for commands! I recommend "short presses" instead of "taps". Seems to work better. Also doesn't bug my ears as much.
Overall: I use them constantly and love them.

5.0 out of 5 stars The King of Noise Cancelling Earbuds for the Pragmatic Consumer
Reviewed in the United States ???? on February 13, 2023

These bose earbuds are industry-leading in sound and noise canceling. Better than Apple AirPods Pro 2 and other competitors like Samsung and Beats. They also have the best touch controls on the actual earbud to control volume, play/pause, and skipping. It is very intuitive (better than Apple's pinch controls in my opinion). At this price point, it doesn't get better than these in those regards. The case is solid and charges in a few hours for a 24-hour case battery and 6 hours of in-ear battery. Bluetooth connectivity is very easy with the Bose Music app as well as for use on laptops or MacBooks.
The biggest upside for me is the fit. There are 3 different-sized tips as well as 3 sizes of wing-like straps for the earbuds. This allows you to make 9 combinations (16 if you buy the additional package for an XL tip and wing) of tip and wing to fit whatever ear size you have. Fit was the biggest issue for me with the Airpods Pro 2's always slipping out and these Bose earbuds are perfect in that regard.
One issue is that it can't connect to multiple devices at the same time but that isn't an issue for me as switching off connectivity from one device and beginning it on another takes a few seconds. As an avid apple product user, the bose earbuds fit into my system quite well. Although the Airpods connection would be more seamless in the ecosystem, this con doesn't outweigh the overwhelming pros of the Bose earbuds.

5.0 out of 5 stars The first ANC earbuds that actually are noise-cancelling when you need it
Reviewed in the United States ???? on September 25, 2022
Color: Triple BlackStyle: QuietComfort Earbuds IIVerified Purchase
Browsing my order history going back to 2015 I've had 4 pairs of cheap wired earbuds.
My favorite headphones are the Sony over ear WH-1000XM4. I tried the WH-1000XM5's and still liked the older model better. The Sony's spoiled me for their noise-cancelling ability. I fly for work almost every week. When I got this job the first thing I did was research headphones and picked up the 1000XM2's and loved them.
I've been hunting for a pair of wireless noise-canceling earbuds for a few years. I tried Samsung Galaxy Buds Live, Samsung Galaxy Buds+ Plus, Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 2, Sony WF-1000XM4 earbuds, SAMSUNG Galaxy Buds Pro, and now these Bose QuietComfort Earbuds II.
I wasn't expecting much from the Samsungs and they lived up to my expectations. I returned them. The Sennheisers were the greatest sounding earbuds I have ever heard, but they were uncomfortable and the noise cancelling was poor. The Sony earbuds were also poor at noise cancelling and didn't sound that great to my ears, especially compared to the over the ear models I love. They were also finicky and uncomfortable.
I never seriously considered the Bose options in the headphones / earbuds game. "No highs, no lows, must be Bose." The Bose sound has always been my least favorite. Clear, midrange, just baffling why people like it. Maybe my ears are damaged, but just not for me. Then I read a review. I took the plunge. No kidding - the noise cancelling on these is as good as the Sony over the ear models.
My test for noise cancelling is taking the earbuds for a walk. I do a few miles around the neighborhood every day - and after the Sony's entered my life, the 'clomp clomp clomp' of my footsteps with any other earbud/headphone has driven me crazy. I put these on last night and played a few tracks on TIDAL Master quality - Beatles, Prince, some classical, and there it was. That midrange Bose sound that drives me batty. I switched between these and the Sony's - and the Sony's sound great with no tweaking. They just sound great. I have fallen in love with pipe organ recordings because of the Sony's I think. I love the way the recordings sound and feel in the Sony's. No way these Bose are going to cross this hurdle of sounding like Bose. It's just what they are, not my taste.
This morning I tweaked the EQ on my phone to make the Bose less Bose-sounding, and started on my walk, and I couldn't hear my footsteps. I COULDN'T HEAR MY 'CLOMP CLOMP CLOMP.' Oh my goodness. Why do these have to be Bose! These things are a miracle. A MIRACLE. So I dug into my phone's sound settings a little more and saw they have different sound settings for people, depending on their age. I clicked on my age (none of your business!) and the Bose sounded better. More in line with what I'm used to. I played a pipe organ piece and it didn't sound as full as the Sony's but it was fine. It passed my test.
I have read the Bose doesn't use the fancy high quality codecs the Sony's use. I could hear sound degradation on quieter passages of a classical recording - but I looked at the recording and it was on a not top-tier label, so maybe it was just an average recording. But the bottom line is- after returning several pair of earbuds for the reasons spelled out above, I am actually going to keep these.
I discovered the Bose app has it's own EQ which tweaks the sound a little better than my phone's. There is also a mode where it cancels the sound I want canceled ('clomp clomp clomp'), yet I could hear cars approaching and my feet crinkling leaves in the street. Fantastic!

5.0 out of 5 stars Best in Class Noice Cancelling, Very Good Audio, and Fit Options, Poor Connect Application

I decided on the QC2 after trying Galaxy Buds2 Pro, Sony Wf-1000xm4, and Audio Technica ATH-TWX9. The Audio Technica have a better sound signature (for my liking) and have the look and feel of a $300 earbud. The mid and highs have a brilliance that the others I tried don't. However, I could only get them to seal using aftermarket tips that were uncomfortable and the noise cancelling was mid-tier at best. The Bose had Alternate Tips and stability bands, XXS and XL, on their website and I needed the XL. They fit perfectly and are very comfortable. Other manufacturers should take note. Another no brainer for a flagship Earbud would be wireless charging, which Bose does not support. Not a deal breaker for me but another miss.
The Bose connect App is, frankly, not good. The Apps for all of the Buds I tried were better and THEY STAYED CONNECTED. The QC2 box states "Made for iPhone, Works with Android". I would assume that the App problems might be better with iPhone but is very frustrating using my S22 Ultra. I have to connect to it numerous times throughout the day and at least once a week I have to re-pair the Buds to my phone as the App can't find the device although it is actually paired to the phone. I would also like at least a 5-band equalizer in place of the 3-band.
Another shortcoming is Codec support. While the QC2 supports SBC and AAC it lacks any type of APTX or the higher resolution LDAC. Hopefully this will be corrected in an upcoming firmware update.
Bottom Line for me is I can for a while tolerate the poor App because the really good Noise Cancelling, very good audio quality and a really great fit. If we can get APTX HD or Lossless and invest some money into the Connect App these will be hard to top.
UPDATE: I have been using these steadily for 3 weeks now and must say I'm quite impressed. After tweaking using The Equalizer the sound is excellent. I can wear these for hours and actually forget I have them in. The noise canceling is world class. I've learned to live with the app although I do wish it would stay connected, but definitely not a deal breaker. Raise the review to five stars, well deserved.

Edit: Found my mistake with the fit. The bud sizes have nothing to do with going deeper into your ear canal. They expand to fill out the entry into you canal. Now that I have switched from small to large, I pass the hearing test. What a difference. They now are just as good as my QC 35 headphones. I also switched to the large ring. It is easier to get the correct fit by changing rings first. Once you have the tightest fit with those, try with the various rings.
....original review below...
I bought these primarily because they are the first buds I could find that actually stay in my ear. I did buy the auxiliary set of rings that come in extra small and get a slightly better fit but still fail the hearing test.
Sound is good but not as good as my Bose headphones. Didn't really expect they would be.

My only previous ANC products are also Bose, but over the ear headphones. I was a little suspect about earphones but my goodness they are incredibly effective. The comfort from being able ot pick between earbud and stability band sizes is a huge gamechanger - normally I just accept that earphones will hang loosely in my ears, but these can accomplish a secure and very comfortable fit.
Pros: sound is great, and you can fiddle around with the balance in the Bose app (I increase the mid and trebles from the default). Comfort as mentioned before is incredible, although I have yet to have worn them any longer than ~2 hours. Battery as far as I can tell is more than good enough for my usage (listening to music and audible books during my commute, so about ~3 hours a day).
My first criticism, is the case hinge feels pretty weak. I don't remember if it started that way, or just having it in my pocket for a few days has soften the case joint, but it feels like the build quality of the case is a little shy of what you'd hope for at this price point.
My second criticism is the noise canceling, when put into "Aware" mode, seems to rely on having multiple sound levels to distinguish background noise from other noise. Background chatter is only made quieter if someone is talking to me, and then gets louder when the conversation ends, which results in the background noise oscillating in volume. Also loud sounds (like a train horning its arrival) seem to screw around with it a bit.
My third criticism is that the left earbud seems reasonably prone to dropping the connection. I've had it for about a month, and about 3-4 times I've needed to put both earbuds in to redo the pairing. It seems most prone to doing this if I take one earbud out to better hear the surrounding world, where when I put that earbud back in it struggles to pair it again.

4.0 out of 5 stars Best sound quality but……
Reviewed in the United States ???? on October 22, 2022
Color: Triple BlackStyle: QuietComfort Earbuds IIVerified Purchase
I’ll start with how amazing the sound quality is out of these earbuds, best wireless earbud sound quality I’ve heard, I compared to AirPods gen 1. AirPods Pro gen 1 and 2. But for $300 when comparing to AirPods Pro 2, AirPods takes it. I wear earbuds all day for 4-6 hours at a time, I’m a automotive technician so I would use the noise cancellation features quite a bit. I do love that the noise cancellation is adjustable, and both the AirPods Pro 2 and Bose quitecomfort 2 have a adaptive transparency mode that allows all noise in but protects from noises above 90 decibels, which in the automotive industry is pretty much every air tool we use. When Bose activates this feature it sounds robotic and changes your listening audio, makes it sound odd for a second or two, apple is much smoother when their adaptive transparency works. Also many more features with the apple earbuds, from 3 charging methods and find my features, Bose only has one which is cable charging. AirPods can completely turn off transparency or noise cancellation, Bose cannot. My biggest reason for ultimately choosing AirPods pro2 was the comfort, the Bose earbuds began to chaff my ears after about 1.5 hours, the AirPods I can go for 5+ before I notice any discomfort. So side by side with features the apple AirPods will win this hands down, but… if you’re an audiophile, the sound quality you get from Bose is unbeatable and apple doesn’t come close, also the adjustability of degree of noise cancellation is a fantastic Bose feature, but other than that, the AirPods won me out, mainly due to their integration into iOS UI. I’m sure if I had a android I would stick with the Bose option but apple made sure the AirPods work flawlessly with their iOS devices. Last thing I will mention, maybe it was just my set, but they were a bit buggy. What happened was, in 5 days of owning, they connected 6 times but played no audio, I had to set them back in their case and start over for that to remedy, also for the first 15 seconds after you put them in, the tap controls are very buggy, either severely delayed response or nos response, once they’ve been in Your ears for over a minute they work perfect. Last annoyance was using tap controls, when using it’s almost like an even slight tap on the earbuds is amplified and is obnoxiously loud, I thought maybe I was tapping too hard, but with AirPods gen 1, which are all tap controlled, the action of tapping on the side produces no real noise. I’m telling you, the tap on the side sounds like a balloon popping at a distance of 15-20 ft away every time, it was very difficult to overlook that during my use. You literally have to delicately tap the side to have no audio discomfort, with AirPods I will literally tap with my buckles if my hands are dirty and I get no audible discomfort, no shockingly loud tap, so I don’t know if it is physically transferring the noise in or the noise transparency is interpreting the tapping as a noise and just amplifying this for your ears, either way it’s highly annoying and was the ultimate deal breaker for me.

1) About Seller: The product arrived as promised, it is new packed Earbuds, Delivery from the seller was very fast, few days faster than expected and everything is in excellent condition
2) About product: the product itself is very stylish, comfortable to use. Noise cancellation is incredible and Basssss oh my god, didn't expect that deep sound from such small earplugs. Bravo to the producers.
But there is a default bug: you literally can not use the left plug by itself. They work fine together, and right one on it's own, but if you try to use only left one, it gets disconnected. Apparently, they know about it in the company and plan to fix is, but not yet.
Also, their app is very slow and keeps disconnecting all the time.

Bose QC 2 has the same selling point as the Bose QC 1, the noise cancellation, which is top choice, the sound quality with the app is alright although the QC 1 has the strongest bass, everybody thinks that Bose is number 1 for bass quality, that's 100 percent illusion, most of the top tier earbuds are supported by their app, and it's all based on your adjustments, to me, all the presets EQ s are weak and low volume, you have to be the engineer and custom your preferred sound because straight out of the box none of them is real impressive, however I did compare the QC 2 to the Soundcore liberty 3 pro's and the JBL tour plus they both out performed Bose in sound quality, deeper bass, loudness all around better sound, the best way to enjoy the JBL tour plus is to listen to them with ambient sound off, because they will rattle with the noise cancellation on, Bose QC 1 and 2 are still good earbuds they're just a little over priced and their over the ear headphones don't have the best bass either, The Skullcandy EVO is top choice all day everyday, they come with with a adjustable bass slider, and in movie mode they become brighter and maintain a strong bass presence with a loud volume, the only rational reason to really buy the Bose QC is really need the noise cancellation, that's it that's all, that's why they named them QC, but all the major brands have some form of noise reduction with a better sound and affordable, a lot of people say Sennheiser 3s is the best earbuds, once again another illusion, they sound good but the earbuds itself has a lot of issues that they do not know how to fix, for myself JBL and Soundcore is my go to earbuds for any occasion and their performance is top notch and they stand the test of
time, Bose is top choice in speaker's not earbuds, that's why their selling point is noise cancellation they themselves never said they have the best earbuds, people expect them to be good because of their reputation, and do to their reputation this is why they expect $300. Dollar's for some mediocre earbuds

As usual bose has superb sound quality and I was hesitant to get these due to reviews about them being glitchy. They work fine for what I use them for, just music really. I don't like the fact that you cannot have just one in...cuts out if you take one out. I love the noise cancelling feature though, sounds cool when in a noisy factory and you put them in and the way it cuts out the background noise before you play your music.

I have been using these earbuds for almost a month now and I can say that these earbuds sound great, the noise canceling is superb. However the product itself can be buggy sometimes, for example, you can only use the right earbud on its own dispite others saying you can use them independently. The only way I can use the left earbud is by opening the case so the right earbud can connect to the left and pair with my phone, this can be very annoying sometimes and it can be very finicky. Other than the software problem I can say that these earbuds are great I just wished bose dident use us as beta testers. If your looking for comfortable great sounding noise canceling earbuds these are a good choice but just know that there are downsides like the software problems and lack of features like wireless charging case.

Maxed out noise cancellation in the app, tried creating custom settings to max it out, and unless it is already fairly quiet it doesn't do the job. Noise reduction would be more accurate. Sound quality is definitely Bose. Full, rich tones and good bass. *needs a volume override, max volume is not nearly loud enough to listen to that favorite song at high volume.
Overall this is a good quality earbud for sound. Don't count on them for noise 'cancelling'.

The sound quality on these are hands down the best out of all the ANC buds I have tried. They sound is a lot more fuller, clear, bright and dynamic compared to the Airpod Pro 2. It is like night and day listening to these compared to the Airpods. The design is also very nice looking in your ear and much much smaller profile compared to the 1st gen QC Buds.
That said, no wireless charging and the case is slippery and easy to drop out of your hands. In addition, the ear buds have this super magnet attachment to the case which makes it quite difficult to get them out of the case. If you can overlook these negatives and going for best sound quality, these are THE BEST...hands down.

3.0 out of 5 stars Great Sound + Connectivity & Intermittent Noise Cancellation issues
Reviewed in the United States ???? on February 22, 2023
Color: Triple BlackStyle: QuietComfort Earbuds IIVerified Purchase
Great sound and are wonderful when in a stationary position. The sound quality is by far the best earbuds that I have used (compared to Airpods/Airpod Pro/Powerbeats Pro). Unfortunately with the Bose QC Earbuds II, I experience intermittent connectivity issues, intermittent sound cancellation issues (people complain when it doesn't work), and syncing issues (just drops connectivity and requires reseating earbuds in case). I have tried to only use it with one device and that has not helped. I also have to reconnect most of the time when trying to use it. Working out with them has also been a challenge and sometimes just disconnect or are too quiet.
Rating of 3 stars (would have been 2.5 if an option) as I will keep them and the sound quality is superior when in a stationary setting. I do have a use for them and would have returned them if they were going to be my primary earbud.
Pros:
1. Sound Quality
2. Noise cancellation when works
3. Bose App used to configure
4. Preset options
Cons:
1. Connectivity issues
2. Inconsistent performance
3. Noise cancellation when it fails- people complain about the noise

I read about the noise canceling and thought that this would be better than the AirPod pros that I had been using for two years. I have an Apple iPhone, and I feel that it is important to note how difficult the connection is despite having the app. When I already have the headphones connected and receive a call, the call will not be picked up on the headphones like it would be on the AirPod pros, you have to reconnect to the headphones every time and that is a nuisance. I have kept these for almost the entire two months before returning them because I really loved the sound quality, however, the Noise cancellation was not as great as the AirPod pros. The only benefit that these had over the AirPod pros was that the other person on the other side of the call if the noise cancellation was completely on, so they could not hear my surroundings, but I could hear everything around me , I love the music quality because it is so crystal clear but I am definitely disappointed with all of the different ear fittings which I have messed with endlessly trying to find a way to rationalize keeping a $300 pair of headphones if you have Apple P aware that there will be many connection issues, I have heard from others, who have androids, etc. that they do not have the same issues. I have use these at the gym and despite having tried all of the different ear tips, etc. I still still myself putting them back in my ear so they do not sit well in my ear canal with any of the combinations.
Sadly, I am returning these, and will be buying AirPod pros until those can work out their issues with Apple.

Forget what the reviews say. These do not feel great in your ears. They are clunky. The sound isn't what I hoped it would be for a $300 set. The app is unnecessary, except for upgradind the firmware. Seriously, most devices have a way of adjusting the sound output. I believe that the app too invasive.
I ended up returning these.
Try Sony or Sennheiser.
Edit.......
After returning these, Amazon said that I'd get a refund within 2 to 5 hours. That didn't happen. I inquired and they said 3 to 5 days. That didn't happen. I inquired again. They said 7 days. That didn't happen. I inquired again. They said 14 days, and the person I talked to on the phone assured, and promised it would be refunded by Tuesday the 24th because that's the 14 day mark. That didn't happen. I inquired about it again today and they say now it's going to take 30 days. I'm so frustrated with all the lies and misinformation Amazon has given me about this. I told them that I needed the refund to buy another product. I just don't have another 300 bucks that I can spend while waiting for this refund.
Everything about this purchase is a zero star performance. From the quality of the product to the quality of Amazon "Customer Service." It just leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
With so many other options for online shopping, I will now find a different option than Amazon.

I find myself getting annoyed with these earbuds more than I thought I would. For one, they only have one Bluetooth antenna in the right bud, so you can't use just the left. Which means there's no chance to charge the right bud and still listen to music. Aware mode gives me a sharp static screech every now and then. Other modes get rid of it, but that one just doesn't work. I've had issues with pairing that required me to unpair the earbuds completely. I also hear the wind through the microphone while I run even on the highest noise cancelling setting. I can also hear children yelling through it which is very annoying.
They do sound nice and the battery life hasn't even come close to being an issue yet. I just really expected more from these earbuds that are touted as the best on the market. I don't know if I'd buy these again just because of the price

Have to use included charger which is different than my other ones.
Case is larger than I would like
Be ready to upload the product updates for the earbuds and then also upload the charger case by puffing it into your computer and going from there. It’s annoying.
Doesn’t connect right away to Bluetooth. Have to ask it to connect. Not the end of the world but annoying.
Overall if my other EarPods would fit my ears I would stay with them. I’m forced to use these as they are the only ones that don’t fall out. Get the job done albeit with frustration.

3.0 out of 5 stars Great sounding earbuds with a poor case and battery indication
Reviewed in the United States ???? on November 28, 2022
Color: Triple BlackStyle: QuietComfort Earbuds IIVerified Purchase
As many other reviews have stated, the earbuds sound great be it music or phone calls. Noise-cancelling is superb and having adjustability via Bose App is useful. However there are a few issues (which may or may not be specific to my example):
Battery life is a joke. It seems like the earbuds don't snap into the case well enough to charge every time they're placed back into the case. Many times I find them dead just as when I need them most. Sometimes one earbud has zero charge while another still works.
Charge indicator in the app only shows charge remaining in the earbuds, but not the case. Why? This is 2022, and this is $250+ earbuds.
Fit is still a hit and miss for me as I'm still experimenting with different combinations of the ear tips and wing tips. They all seem to test with a good seal according to the Bose app, but they sure fit very differently.
Multi-point pairing is still not available which is an inconvenience having to switch between my iPhone and my Apple Watch. Both devices should be able to connect to the earbuds simultaneously. Again, this is already 2022, not 2010.
Overall I'm rather disappointed by the overall users experience despite the earbuds' great sound quality. The problem is that many times they just don't work because they're dead out of the case. Again, it could just be my (defective?) example, or maybe not.

I personally don't like the fact they just don't get loud enough. The anc is better than the original qc earbuds but nothing compared to actual over the head qc headphones. The app on android is bad, there is a delay anything you do might have to do again. The sound quality is good just doesn't get there as far as volume. I like my volume when I am in the gym. It states that they are made for apple and works with android which confues me since apple aready manufacturers it own headphones and is clearly doing a better job. pass through is pretty solid you do hear a slight hiss during pass through. Fit isn't bad once you find the right one. Overall they have alot to be desired! At least it is an improvement over there previous model. I still don't understand why they would market to a consumer base that has a dedicated chips that make it better and only come with like half the features and then try to market to that consumer base that already has two dedicated set of headphones? I am done with my rant. Regardless if you don't like beats or the apple air pods pro 2 and can live without wireless charging, not being able to switch between devices without having to manually connect, and if you you can only use the right earbud and not the left at all with out the right then maybe these headphones are for you.

While one day there might be an option to add this via software to the earbud, there is no speaker in the case that I can see so that will never ring.
Ultimately this was a deal breaker and I returned mine.

2.0 out of 5 stars Honest review: Best ANC hands down, but so many other issues
Reviewed in the United States ???? on January 4, 2023
Color: Triple BlackStyle: QuietComfort Earbuds IIVerified Purchase
Since mid December I've been trying all the highly-rated earbuds with ANC. Being an iPhone user, I naturally started with the Airpods Pro 2s. They were wonderful in all regards and the reviews reflect this fact. However, I have one very large external acoustic meatus on my right ear, and was not able to pass the fit test. Apple was not able to help as their largest silicone ear tip does not accommodate me. I tried aftermarket eartips, which I'm very accustomed to doing over the years with IEM use. Apple gracefully gave me a full refund. I then tried the 1More Evo. These earbuds were excellent like the Airpods for less than half the price, and fit, finish, and connectivity was excellent. ANC was the letdown in the end. Less effective than the Airpods, despite passing the fit test.
Enter the highly-rated and anticipated Bose earbuds. Here's a list of pros and cons to make it simple.
Pros:
ANC is amazing, clearly the market leader for earbud ANC
Innovative fit and seal for passing the fit test, even for my right ear!
Cons:
less definition and smaller soundstage than the Airp_ds Pro 2 and 1M_re EVOs. Treble is the weakspot
connectivity issues, left channel connects only half the time
cheap-feeling materials. case door when open flexes.
hard to remove earbuds, pinching the silicone collar is required to remove the earbuds from case
connectivity issues, updating issues, software issues (very buggy), and difficult tech support
app is not iPhone friendly, can't fully see battery indication on the screen (right earbud battery info is cut off on the right side of the iPhone screen.
price is not on parity with the overall build quality and experience provided
battery life is inconsistent, and there are days when I pull the earbuds out and they are dead (in a fully charged case)
not a serious ANC earbud for phone calls
Wanted to like these, as my options are running thin. I could overlook the cheap feel of this product if only it worked consistently. I will miss the class leading ANC! Maybe version 3 will be my salvation. And thanks to Amazon for allowing me to try all of these earbuds and return them when necessary!
P.S. 2 days in, and I still have not been able to update the case and earbuds
UPDATE. Still having connection issues. Connects successfully with iPhone 13 3 out 4 times. Bose Updater not working and does not recognize my device. So I have not updated the earbuds or the case. Bose updater as a standalone app is a disaster. There are so many recommended fixes on the Bose website, none of which worked.

Before I begin I want to say I rate items extremely harshly. I work extremely hard for my money so spending 300$ is not something I want to just throw away I sweat for that amount through multiple days.
I originally was pleased with the purchase having a nice "wow" moment upon my first experience with noise cancelation earbuds and was impressed with how comftorable they fit at first. Sadly that honeymoon feeling wore off quickly within a few weeks.
The first problem I had was the earbuds were randomly falling out of my ears with the slightest of movements. My guess is ear wax (I clean my ears daily so there's no getting around this) basically the earbuds were getting lubed causing them to slip out no matter what. Switching sizes ended in the same problem.
Next issue was connection issue. Even the bose official app wouldn't connect with my Samsung galaxy phone I just gave up.
More connection issues with sound cutting off one ear wouldn't connect i would resync and now the other ear wouldn't connect. Slowly these issues just kept building.
Now 2 months after my 299$ purchase the right ear bud which is supposedly the main bud is completely broken.
These earbuds should NOT be 299$, they just aren't built to last. I only use them during work breaks, lunch and smokes.
Be prepared to be let down after your headphones break after a few months.

2.0 out of 5 stars loud "hiss" when ANC is on; connectivity issues.
Reviewed in the United States ???? on December 19, 2022
Color: Triple BlackStyle: QuietComfort Earbuds IIVerified Purchase
Basically, I'm returning these because there's a very high level of background "hiss" when ANC is on, at any level. Much more noticeable than other NC earbuds and headsets I've used (Samsung earbuds, Bose's previous two generations of earbuds, 1st generation Sennheiser headphones).
I also had severe connectivity problems with my new (October '22) phone, bad enough that I had to use another device - a rather old tablet - to even make it through the setup process. Was it the phone, the earbuds or the Bose app? That's a good question, but I've not had issues like this connecting the phone to other Bluetooth devices, and I got things to work on the old tablet. In my mind that points towards the app. Normally I wouldn't downgrade a hardware review for a software problem, but in this case they're tied so tightly together I can't ignore it - like a smartphone, what you're really paying for is the combination.
On the positive side these earbuds are easily the most customizable for fit of any I've ever had. It takes more fiddling but the combo of replaceable tips and retainer rings let me get a good, comfortable, secure fit. Historically this has been a problem for me as I have very large ear canals, so this was nice.
In the end, though, the loud high-pitched hiss with ANC on was just too much. For me, with the primary use being reducing fatigue from ambient noise during air travel rather than listening to music, it really defeats the purpose, to the point where I'd rather use passive earplugs.
Overall very disappointing; I expect better from Bose.

After reading all the descriptions and Q&A's, it appears that Bose really backs these NEW Bose QuietComfort Earbuds II, and convinced me and probably other customers to buy the ear buds. However, the REALITY is, that these earbuds DO NOT securely fit in your ear and constantly fall out. Yes, i followed Bose's instructions, watched video, and read the customers' reviews. Don't matter, these ear buds are too bulky and are not secure in your ear. They will fall out when you run/jump, or when you're talking. I used the small buds and the medium ones. Same problem! Yes Mr. Bose, i did follow instructions and twist the buds to try and secure in ear! they still fell out!
However, the sound is great! noise cancellation is not so great. also the mics on the buds is too low, even at a higher volume. I wonder why Bose this product even has mikes if you cannot hear people talking around you. Also, trying to figure out special features by using your finger did not work well either. When trying to swipe for louder volume or other features with your fingers is tough unless you have small fingers i believe. The design is terrible for people that would use them to work out....really work out. You cannot wear a hoody or beanie (knit cap) because it will move and dislodge ear buds from your ear and they fall out. I'm very disappointed as I only purchase Bose products because of the sound quality. These ear buds are just NOT PRACTICAL. I wish Bose would fix this, I'll have to try another brand or an older Bose ear buds that will stay in your ear when working out.

Why do all Bose ear buds last about30-45 days before going bad? After the issues I had with the QC 1 buds (three pair before I got a good set) I swore I would never purchase another pair of Bose earbuds. My wife didn't get the message and got me these for a gift. I am now of set number two of the QC 2's. First set like clockwork at the 30 day mark started to get this horrid right ear bud crackling and hissing. 5 resets that included complete unpairing, app deletion, and a change from android to apple all did nothing to stop it. I am at 35 days on the replacements and so far they are holding up.
The GOOD: Smaller design is GREAT compared to the previous generation, both the earbuds and case are much friendlier. Fit is great and stays in the ear while doing most activities. Noise cancelling as always is superb for a earbud. Active or Hear through also has improved since the previous generation, sounds very realistic without that amplified mic sound I'm used to. Battery life is decent and about as advertised with either mode on.
The BAD: No wireless charging at this price??? Really??? My $20 pair I use for the shower have wireless charging. Quality control and hardware issues as I already said above.

The sound quality is great as you'd expect from a Bose product. These are also surprisingly comfortable compared to the original QC1 wireless earbuds.
But the real problem is the step back in noise cancelation quality, and for the 300 premium price tag, it feels like a scam. These are far worse than the QC1's. While they still cancel out constant hums well like air conditioners and fans, it does almost nothing for almost everything else.
It's a lot worse at canceling out people's voices around you as well as any sound that has a higher pitch. Any high pitch sounds have almost zero noise cancelation, and in some cases can seem louder than they should be.
My biggest gripe with these is the fact that if you're in a silent room and have noise cancelation on max, there is a rain/static sound that comes from the earbuds. I use headphones when getting ready for bed, but the static is incredibly annoying.
There is also still very little customization in terms of tapping to pause, play music, etc, which is just obnoxious because they made it so pause/play is a single tap that can easily be pressed by adjusting the earbuds.

I got them and was immediately impressed with the sound and ANC, but that's why I bought Bose because I expect the best. I had them one day, and the Bluetooth would disconnect from the app; they weren't that comfortable despite trying all the earbud combinations, and the kicker was that there was no option to ring an earbud if you lost it...The Bose Sport earbuds have that feature at half the price, so why wouldn't the most expensive pair they sell?
Plus, when I called customer service, it sounded like a cattle auction was going on in the background, but it was India, so not likely, and they were little to no help. I really wanted to like them, but I'll get a cheap pair and keep moving between the inability to find a lost one and their outsourcing customer service.

ANC Noise Cancellation is what Bose is known for and they hit it out of the park in this latest model.
2
Call quality. . microphone is terrible. Other side keeps saying "what what what. . can't hear you".
3
Comfort and fit: outstanding. Bose also sells extra small or extra large bud ends and circular bands.
4
Occasional uneven battery charging. One side might charge to 100%, the other to 20%.
end update:
First 2 units. Bought and returned. Multiple issues with uneven battery drain and drop outs. Lot's of negative reviews for quality control and reliability over time. Fit and comfort is excellent compared to the last model. ANC is absolutely outstanding, when it works. Tried 2 units. still battery drain issues.
Trying a 3rd one because they are excellent otherwise. So far. . .no uneven battery drain issues. Battery life on full ANC is about 5 hours at the most as many of the newer ANC earbuds do. The Apple Airpod Pro Gen 2 has a little longer battery life, better music fidelity and clarity, but no customizable fit. These Bose units are very comfortable and don't fall out. I ordered an optional fit kit direct from Bose and it helps a lot to get each ear fitted properly if the standard kit sizes don't work.
Update: too many defects. Call microphone got worse. Fidelity got muddy. Defective product.
Thank goodness for Amazon.com great customer service and returns on defective items.

2.0 out of 5 stars DIsapointing new gen QC II

As a Bose user for many years all along their product line, this is the first product that I found disappointing. I bought this when I lost my QC I which where awkwardly large but functionally flawless.
Flaws found so far
1. Definitely the earplugs do not fit well, as do the traditional silicon earplug. No matter which combination of ear tips and stability band you use. Earbuds keep falling even without movement and noise reduction is greatly impaired.
2. Touch controls are really slow and hard to use.
3. Box light will not show battery level. A light indicator for 30-99% battery is not an acceptable gauge.
4. Will periodically get to a strange state that needs a reset.
5. Bose app is useless, will not work unless online. All functions should be accessible from the earbuds.
Will try the Sony WF-1000XM5 when available
1.0 out of 5 stars Don't Buy - Connectivity issues on both Android and iPhone
Reviewed in the United States ???? on February 16, 2023
Color: Triple BlackStyle: QuietComfort Earbuds IIVerified Purchase
I've been a fan of the Bose Quiet Comfort line for a while now. I've always been impressed by the level of noise cancelling they're able to achieve in their products. When I saw that a new QC set of earbuds had hit the market I took it as an opportunity to upgrade from my current JBL Tour Pro earbuds to the Bose. This is my third QC product, I also own a pair of the QC700 over the ear headphones.
With all that as a background my experience with the ridiculously bad handling both the earbuds and headphone have on Bluetooth connectivity I would stay well away from Bose. Great audio and noise cancelling aren't worth anything if you cannot connect to it reliably from your devices!
Pros:
- Noise Cancelling
- Sound Quality
Ok:
- Aware mode (copying transparency mode from Apple). Not as good as the Apple Air Pods Pro, but passable. Don't buy these for this feature if you own and iPhone, Air Pods are way better.
Bad:
- Bose requires you to use their Bose Music app to connect their earbuds to your phone. In my experience with both the QC700 and QC ii earbuds this is a horrible experience. New out of the package, connecting to stock Android on a Pixel 6Pro it took me 30 minutes and as many connection attempts/ phone restarts, etc. to successfully get them to pair. This mirrors the experience I had with the QC700's, the Bose Music app does a horrible job managing the bluetooth functionality. Why they don't use the stock bluetooth functionality is beyond me.
- Once connected, the earbuds do not reliably reconnect to a device when removed from the case. It works sometimes but if it doesn't you are required to open the Bose Music app before your phone connects to the earbuds.
- Connecting the earbuds to my secondary phone (iPhone SE 2022) the experience worked on the first attempt, however, the earbuds would not stay connected to the phone. In a Facetime call no sound was present from the earbuds with bluetooth selected as the source, and the iPhone would keep switching sources back to the native phone speaker due to unresponsiveness of the earbuds.
Final thought: Bose does a great job with noise cancellation, and sound quality. However they clearly don't know much of anything about app development and bluetooth management. Requiring the use of a mobile app to access your headphones is bad design. Its a shame that a good legacy of audio experiences is rendered practically useless through poorly performing software.
My recommendation: if you own an iPhone get the AirPod Pro, for Android owners check out the Sony WF-1000XM3, Sony has been catching up to Bose on ANC for a while now and provide a significantly better user experience.

1.0 out of 5 stars ELECTRIC CURRENT SOUND and BUZZLING when turned on.
Reviewed in the United States ???? on February 22, 2023
Color: Triple BlackStyle: QuietComfort Earbuds IIVerified Purchase
Now, I have returned one and this is the second one I got, so I'm pretty sure it's not a rare case. In general the noise cancelling is great, but the earbuds keep producing a buzzling noise on the left, and a high frequency electric current sound on the right. It's nothing on the hardware level, because it definitely has a rhythm in it and sometimes it's completely gone. I tried using this product in various environments and with different devices connected, and it's always there. I think they poorly programmed this product. It not very loud, but you can definitely hear it if your noise cancelling is turned to the maximum. It's extremely annoying if I tried to sleep with this sound running in my head.
I'm very disappointed. I had been Bose users for years ,starting with qc20, qc30, qc35, b700, and even the sleep buds. Bose has always been reliable and delivers a great noise cancelling and decent sound quality. I had some issues in thr past, but it's not a superise if my qc20 needed a repair after being used for several years. I loved it. But unfortunately those experiences does not pass on to this one.
It's worth mentioning that I do have a better hearing ability than a lot of people, so maybe you can't hear it. The things is, no matter how good is my ears, it still can only hear in the 20-20,000hz range. It's definitely a design flaw. Having this noise which could potentially damage your hearing is just unacceptable, especially when it is sold at $300 which is not close to cheap.
When you are playing music it's not noticeable. so if you are only using it for workout I would say it's fine. But if you try to play some white noise and have a snap in the middle of a trip, this is definitely not the earbuds for you.

1.0 out of 5 stars Disappointed

This ear buds sound amazing but right now im trying to force my self to really like them. This aren’t very compatible with IOS. They’re is a lot of connectivity issues. They have a hard time connecting to iOS software. I have yet to try out the connection with android phone. The noise cancelling is really good the awareness feature is a little more on the negative side. There is some times when awareness isn’t very clear and have a hard time hear my surroundings while listening to music. One think i really dislike is when i have it on awareness any little sudden sounds that happen around you, your earphones automatically reduce those sounds even in awareness. So if you’re having a conversation with someone and off sound happens in the middle of your conversation then you won’t be able to hear what that person said for the remaining time that the sound happen for. There for making you take the earphone out just so you can continue your conversation. Awareness is not my favorite. Also the touch feature when it come to answering calls pausing music or skipping songs needs a lot of work. I find my self trying roughly 3 times just to skip one song. It seems like it doesn’t really register the taps accordingly. Sometime i want to skip and song and i double tap and it only registers one tap causing my music to pause rather then skipping the song. The volume sliding also needs some work. When you slide your finger to turn the volume up or down it doesn’t register the slide it thinks you tap once there for causing it to pause the music. I feel like it also get sensitive to the touch when you don’t want it to for example I’ve had several instances where i had to adjust my ear phone so it doesn’t fall and this caused my music to pause and sometimes while being on a phone call, to disconnect the phone call i was one. I like the earphone because they do sound good. Like i said I’m forcing my self to like them i have until the 31 of January to return them. I might end up doing just that.

1.0 out of 5 stars Terrible customer service from bose, cheaply made case, buzzing in right ear

I consider myself an earbuds snob I've had beats, Apple, bose, Sony, skullcandy, etc and For $300 I've never felt so ripped off in my life. Customer service is in the Philippines, the people there are very kind and trying everything to help but you can't understand anything they're saying and when it gets too frustrating on both ends they simply hang up, they've hung up on me three times. This isn't my first Bose product, I've had the soundsport true wireless earbuds and they were the best earbuds I ever had I left them on my roof one day and they flew off and the case still closed perfectly I found one earbud and couldn't find the right earbud, case was scratched but perfectly fine, those we're made legit, these blows I mean bose quiet comfort BS are not, don't be fooled there's nothing quiet about them their noise cancellation is a joke, cancels a little bit but not without continual buzzing in and out when it's really loud. I work in a wood shop, when you have your ear towards the machine you can hear the earbuds trying to cancel it out sometimes succeeding sometimes not, the case is not magnetic, the app is so bad good luck trying to connect half the time just look at the reviews for the app I'm not the only one. Honestly just get any other Bose product if you like bows don't get these don't waste $300 like I did and don't be fooled by their noise cancellation advertising.

1.0 out of 5 stars TERRIBLE Compared to v1 and AirPods Pro 2
Reviewed in the United States ???? on January 31, 2023
Color: SoapstoneStyle: QuietComfort Earbuds IIVerified Purchase
Compared to the previous version of this product, these are a DOWNGRADE. Let's get specific.
1. The noise cancellation is better WHEN IT WORKS. These repeatedly have trouble pairing with any of my devices, and they are so persnickety with the seal that half the time, the noise cancellation just flat out fails. When it works? It's amazing.
2. The earpiece/loop system is incredibly stupid. The old StayHear earpieces worked so much better for [a] staying in your ear and [b] providing a good seal. The new system is uncomfortable or ineffective with every combination of loop and earpiece I've tried.
3. The earbuds do not nestle securely in the case. As a result, on any given day, one earbud (usually the left one for me) has not been in contact with the charging leads in the case, so I end up with 1 earbud at 100% battery and another dead.
4. Unlike the previous version, the case does not wirelessly charge. This is absurd in 2023. I would be more forgiving IF THE PREVIOUS VERSION HADN'T HAD IT. But it did. The v1 case wirelessly charged.
5. These don't just work. About 25% of the time, just to get them to connect successfully, I have to put them back in the case, wait 30 seconds, and then try again.
In every aspect except noise cancellation, the Apple AirPods Pro 2 are a better system, especially if you're an iPhone owner. And the ANC on the AirPods Pro 2 is good enough.
Bose cut too many corners on these. I would gladly have paid more for better engineering, but these are a downgrade to their previous product. Strongly avoid this product until v3.

It's unfortunate, because I really expected more from Bose. Firstly, the noise cancelation. This wasn't even close to what was advertised. If you're looking for a pair of earbuds that is good for blocking external noise, I highly recommend the Sony W1000XM4 earbuds. They have twice the noise cancelation at almost half the cost. Secondly, the sound quality. They don't sound bad. They have plenty of custom options for sound profiles in their base music app, which I would like to let the reader know now, that in order to connect these earbuds, you need to download the Bose music app, and connect through the app. It will not pair to your device, without this app. Thirdly, the controls. I actually love how they set up the controls on these. From volume to skipping tracks, it's easy to learn. As far as battery life goes, 6 hours is plenty. And the case has plenty of charge in it too. Lastly, and the most important, is how reliable these are. The noise cancelation/transparent mode stopped working on me after about a month of fair use. One ear bud is louder than the other, and they now sound super quiet. Where previously, half volume was deafening, now full volume is mediocre. If you're looking into these for their noise canceling capabilities, please check out the Sony W1000XM4's, they are so much better, and they won't eat up your bank account. For $300, these earbuds are super unimpressive.

1.0 out of 5 stars Does not connect at the gym

So I tested them out at home and they seem to work fantastic I took them to the health club where I intend to use them and they would not connect. I tried to connect them 25 times I use the case I didn’t use the case I use the Bose music app. I tried to use the Bose Connect app. Then I even deleted all the apps and reinstall them which meant I had to re-sign in with my username and password. and they still would not connect. One of the problems might be that my particular gym does not have call T Wi-Fi. They have very poor Wi-Fi and most people in the gym have to use regular data. but I don’t see why Wi-Fi or not lack of WiFi would make a difference of them connecting but I think that it actually does because Bose wants to contact them selves but the whole point of having earbuds is to wear them like if you’re going for a walk if you’re going for a run if you’re going to the gym if you’re on the bus it’s gonna be not in your house because you wouldn’t wear them in your house it’s gonna be out. And if they can only connect in the house than there are completely useless products or I would just use like a speaker there’s nobody home but me so of course I return them but I am going to re-buy the older model again which worked perfect, and connected perfectly. By the way this feels like it’s a downgrade even though they increased the price, they decrease the quality of the connectedness of them.

1.0 out of 5 stars The worst earbuds I have ever bought.

This are the worst earbuds I have ever bought. You can only use this earbuds if you stay still, you can not move at all otherwise they will fall of your ears and hopefully will get lost on the floor so you don't have to deal with this $300 headache. If you move your jaw they will fall, so if you talk they will fall, if you try to chew they will fall; and don't you dare to walk at the same time, because, yeah you guessed it, they will fall.
Bose also sells an "alternate sizing kit" for $10 extra because why not include all sizes for $300, right? Well, I have use every combination of eartips and stability bands. Nothing works.
The microphone is atrocious, no one can hear me, not even yelling. I have to turn off bluetooth to answer a call.
The only good thing is that ANC is incredible, and the sound is amazing, they get loud, clear, and with bass. To bad you can't do anything besides breathing when you are listening to music because otherwise they will fall.
Unfortunately, believing this were the last earbuds I would have to buy because of all the reviews and hype about them I threw away the packaging and can not return them.
I do not recommend them to anyone. And I would really like my money back.

1.0 out of 5 stars Amazing Headphones with a Huge Bluetooth connectivity Issue

Color: Triple BlackStyle: QuietComfort Earbuds IIVerified Purchase
I absolutely love these headphones. The sound is amazing, the bass, the clarity in the calls, the amazing noise cancellation feature as well, but Bose dropped the ball with their software.
The Bluetooth connection is garbage. The app doesn’t help with the connection at all. I spent several minutes (10-15 mins) trying to get the headphones to connect to my iPhone 14 Pro Max, once they were already paired, every time! The pairing process was a breeze, it’s wanting to slide your earbuds in your ear and get on with your day that makes these headphones a huge headache. They simply will not connect to your phone by sliding them out of the case and inserting them into your ears. But even when you go into settings and press on the Bluetooth Icon to connect directly to them, or “manually”, they still won’t connect! Their “troubleshooting steps “ are a joke. Just gets you more frustrated.
After almost a month of trial and error, I’ve decided to submit a return. I love Bose but these aren’t worth the time and money.
