Amazing. I took years trying to find the perfect chopper. Although I originally wanted one that was simple with only 4 blade sizes, I couldn't resist the price on this one and the reviews seemed to point out it was best regarding durability. It's so good even my mother in law loved it and so I ordered a second one just for her. Really saves time. The trick is to make sure you precut slices that fit within the frame and make sure you put the handle down fast enough, the slower the less effective it is. Blades are sharp. Finished boiled vegetable salad in less than 15 minutes vs a half hour or more with regular knife chopping. And I chop fast but when it comes to vegetables boiled they tend to stick to the knife. Buy it its worth it. Also comes with free frother you just scan a code and it's free shipping too.

This litte device is useful and has multiple functions. It is sturdy and can handle many chopping, dicing and slicing tasks encountered in cooking. Please familiarize yourself with all the parts and functions. The cutting edges are extremely sharp and must be always be used following the precise instructions, especially when using the slicing blades. NEVER, I repeat NEVER slice anything without using the cover attachment.
It is a small device, so if you are using it for a big job, you will need to empty the receptacle often because it fills quickly. I have used all the different blades and attachments and I am quite pleased with the results. Some of the attachments do not clean up easily because small pieces of whatever you are slicing or dicing get caught up in/along the VERY SHARP surfaces.
I would say, this is more than just a functional gizmo; but use with caution ??

I suffer from arthritis in my lower back from having 3 back surgeries. Standing, bending, lifting ect, cause a lot of pain in my back. I love cooking but it keeps me on my feet for longer than I can handle. This product is going to save me soooo much time from hand cutting/chopping. I just got this chopper this week and used it few times. I love it already!
Everything that is included with the chopper and storage for blades feel very heavy duty, not cheap. The blades are extremely sharp making cutting into tomatoes smooth and avoiding making salsa instead of pico. (yes it’s happened to me) i do recommend if ur not a strong knife user, want to save time, want everything cut the same size, ect.
The one thing I believe will make using this a bit challenging is the inserts are very tough to remove. I could be missing something to make it easier to remove the inserts, will check booklet again.

I recently purchased a vegetable chopper and I am thoroughly impressed with its performance. The chopper is compact, easy to use and clean, and made of high-quality materials. I love the various attachments that allow me to chop, dice, and mince a variety of vegetables with ease. The blade is sharp and cuts through even the toughest vegetables with ease.
One of my favorite features is the container that collects the chopped vegetables. It's a great size and prevents any mess or spills on the counter. The lid also snaps on securely, which makes it convenient to store leftovers in the refrigerator.
I would definitely recommend this chopper to anyone looking for a kitchen gadget that simplifies the process of chopping vegetables. It's a great investment for anyone who loves to cook and wants to save time in the kitchen. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with my purchase and would definitely buy this chopper again.

Bought as a gift for my wife after hearing how nice on of these would be. While I do find it a little challenging to clean , the praise that my wife gives this thing every time she uses it makes it worth is. Meanwhile I continue to use a knife. Probably cause I am too lazy to get this out of the drawer, and tearing up while cutting onions is normal to me. But hands down would buy another one and will likely due so as a gift for someone else in the future.

I’ve used this to cube, slice and dice several different things and it does the job well. I find it easy enough to clean, but I haven’t had to prepare large amounts of anything yet. The blades are definitely sharp - I was trying to remove the cubing cartridge and accidentally touched the blade and cut my finger pretty good. Of course I realized the blades are very sharp, but obviously I wasn’t paying close enough attention. Won’t make that mistake again!

This product works great. It is what it is advertised as. I love it. I wish the chopper area was a bit larger; but slicing veggies and other items to fit is quick and easy. I do not understand a lot of the negative comments; but I wasn't there when they had their problem. I experienced some of the cleaning problems, but quickly understood how to correct them. The multi-tined fork supplied with the product works wonders with a touch of patience. It can be a bit loud, but most of us play the TV and radio louder most of the time. My grates and chopping attachments are plenty sharp. No problem cutting anything yet for salads, salsa, veg medleys. Pare this with a good mandolin and you have an unbeatable combo - unless you are a professional chef with lots of time. It is sturdy and simple to use.

you don't mind spending half an hour cleaning the top part of the chopper. Onions become impacted in the grid, and the grid is very time-consuming to clean. I found a wooden skewer easier to use than the included cleaning fork. I think I will buy a mini-processor with hand pull and dedicate that to onion grating, as it will be easier to clean. I did try to follow the directions of one reviewer who did many pounds of homegrown onions with the machine and the machine worked very well creating dice. It was the lengthy cleanup that took all the joy out of the process.
I still like this unit very much and will keep it for bell peppers. It took me 30 minutes to wash 6 bell peppers, clean out the insides, dice them, and clean the machine. The washing up was so fast, it would work just fine for 1 bell pepper. Just be aware it makes enough sound to wake up a baby. I haven't tried the machine on anything else yet, but I expect it will be useful for dicing potatoes and grating carrots.
I got the 10-in-1 version because it has plastic containers for storing the very sharp dicing and grating blades. The containers keep everything safe and compact during storage.

I got this primarily to help my youngest to make cubed potatoes as he is not yet able to work well with the high quality knives we have. In the past, I had a KitchenAid product similar to this but much more expensive, which I had to move on from when the slicing blade bent since the blades are not purchasable separately. This product has a very high quality feel to it with the build and feel of the plastic, the quality English in the instruction manual and the packing it came in. Some things that I would have liked to see in this: slightly larger in size so that the leverage would make it easier to process potatoes, a second thinner slicing blade as the included one is 2mm thick, a design that would allow all the parts to be stored/attached to each other when putting away (I may have missed something, but the small size of the storage container part means I can't lock the top down in place with the blades inside I probably should have gone for a product that is specifically designed for dicing potatoes as that is the main thing I want, but I don't like single or very few purpose devices in general if a multi purpose device is available. Again, build quality is very good, especially for the price.

I chopped five or six onions in no time into small 1/4 inch pieces if not smaller. I put them on to Ziploc‘s to freeze for later use so I can just throw them into a meal when needed. Highly recommend! I’m so excited to try the other features of this amazing tool! I love that everything fits compactly right inside for easy storage. Clean up with also shockingly very easy with the additional little fork tool they include. Definitely a great all in one kitchen tool. Highly recommend.

A quick rinse won't do the work. You need the green little rack come with the purchase or a toothpick to get it out.

About 2 years ago I started really venturing out into cooking. Finding random recipes and trying to cook something new most days of the week. I was spending so much time chopping and dicing that it was taking way longer to cook and as a mom of 2 toddlers, it was exhausting. I’m so glad I bought this chopper because it seriously saves me time. I also don’t have to wash my good knife between cutting meats and veggies or my cutting board which also saves me time. You do have to quarter onions and bell peppers but that’s still less time consuming. Especially since I mince onions and not just chop them. So I use the smallest square cutter on those and the medium on my peppers. It’s all around an amazing product. It hasn’t slipped when cutting. Only thing I would change is the top locking onto the plastic container on the bottom. It needs a better mechanism to keep that part in place while cutting.

The little lip that holds the two halves together snapped within a day or two of use, very thin and flimsy plastic but it's also an entirely irrelevant piece of engineering that served no purpose anyways so I can't even get too mad at it breaking off. The blades are sharp I can attest to that accidentally brushing against them trying to clean the thing and slicing my finger wide open. Blade sank in like it was nothing and the cut was very clean, healed super fast thanks to that but I digress. The slicer is nice but a bit limited to one thickness with a bunch of random attachments you'll probably never use included I think one's a cheese grater? Skipped out on the goofy spiral cutter one to make carrot spaghetti. The cubing function is not very good. The angle you press down on just doesn't allow you to cleanly and easily cut stuff, you'll force it down, bending the plastic, wondering if you're gonna break this thing, until all at once it pushes through and you SLAM it shut. Switching out the blades can be a pain too, got cut trying to pop one of them out because it's slick plastic that snaps very tightly into sockets with basically nowhere to grip it but a small tab on the side. The capacity of the bottom is pretty underwhelming too, you can slice up maybe two small potatoes if you keep tapping it to move them to one side of the bowl. The safety handle for the mandoline also isn't particularly useful for the important part where you need a safety device: the very last bit of the vegetable. You'll have about half an inch leftover you're gonna have to figure out how to slice safely on the mandoline because the gripper doesn't work with that last portion.

3.0 out of 5 stars It's ok

This is the first chopper device I've ever used and I honestly expected more. While it did somewhat speed up the process of chopping veggies, I still have to do a considerable amount of cutting first, because the area where the blades are is quite small. For example, I wanted to dice a medium sized onion but I had to cut the onion into quarters first (instead of half like the picture shows) because the blade square was too small for the half.
Oddly, the garnish slicer has uneven slots, where the middle section is longer than the sides, so I get uneven cuts of veggies. My primary goal with getting a device like this was to julienne veggies and this doesn't do as good a job as I'd hoped. The attachment that they call the julienne slicer is actually just a grater, much different that a julienne slice.
The other thing I noticed is that the blades don't seem super sharp. When I used it to dice an onion, it didn't fully cut through all of the layers so the last layer ended up getting stuck on top of the blades and I had to push it through with the little cleaning comb thing. I have a feeling that when I use this to cut tomatoes, it won't do very well with the skins and I'll just get a mushy mess instead of nice dices.
Overall my sentiment on this device is just 'meh'. It did slightly speed up the process of chopping/ dicing veggies and I will continue to use it to see if things improve, but I don't like having lots of kitchen gadgets and the ones I do hang on to I expect to perform really well. Normally I'd probably return this product but I don't feel like going through the process of repackaging everything so we'll see how things go with further use. Will update my review if anythign changes.

After contemplating for several minutes, I finally settled on making eggplant curry that evening. I was especially looking forward to preparing the vegetables for my dish using my new gadget. Little did I know, I would sacrifice some of the epidermis on my third digit.
So let me tell you how it went and what I learned about these tools that are supposedly meant to “alleviate your prep time” and make cooking “easier and faster”.
I positioned the small dicer into place and began dicing the onions. I had to cut the onion in half first so it wouldn’t pop right out. Depending on the size of the onion, you might even have to split it into 4 sections and slice each separately, as the dicer only accommodates medium to small sized vegetables/fruits.
I soon realized it would require every ounce of my strength to push down the gray lid just so the onion would appear on the other side. It required several pushes before I achieved this result. Quite a workout I must say! Onions were chopped. I was content.
Next I switched the small dicer with the large one to dice tomatoes. Same process and again great results.
Then it came time to slice the eggplant. This is where things get bloody.
I popped out the gray lid, replacing it with the green one. I slid slicer in, aligning the sides. It took a couple tries and it still wasn’t set in completely. I started the slicing the eggplant by moving it back and forth on the slicer.
Again, I found it easier to cut them all in half first. Results were great.
I got excited and increased my speed.
The area right below the nail of my middle finger just barely touched the blade when I saw blood and shrieked. At this point, all my excitement went downhill. I told my mother to finish cutting the eggplants the traditional way with a knife and cutting board. Meanwhile, I applied bandage over my finger.
They are not wrong when they say the blades are sharp in the description.
So I learned some lessons here:
As someone that hates the tears that accompany me when I cut onions, I found this gadget very useful. Other than that, there aren’t many pros to it. Yes it can be “faster”and “easier” to prep for meals BUT that time will be used up to clean every little corner of the tool. And it is NOT AT ALL a walk in the park getting the contents that get stuck in the little crevices. Cleaning was exhausting and time consuming.
The brush that comes with it for cleanup is extremely poorly designed. It did not help at all in removing the onions bits that got caught. I had to bang the the dicer against the sink to remove these bits.
Only the three big blades are safe. Cleaning the blades great concentration and caution. Safety features need some work.
As I pressed down the gray lid, I feared it would crack any second. It is not at all great quality. I guess it is fitting for the price.
The whole gadget has its faults. It’s risky and not as time saving as it is advertised. Save your hard earned money (and the time it would take to wash all the parts) and just use a cutting board and knife.

The holder to slice is a total joke. It keeps coming off, and it's very dangerous to use your hands. You are going to chop your own fingers instead. Be very careful when using this product. Cleaning is also another headache, my brother had a cut when trying to clean it. The little fork like that comes with it to clean is useless; I rather use fork instead. Overall disappointing

I was so excited for this but it is not great. First of all, the slicer is also the lid and it does not stay on, so while you are slicing or chopping you cant go quickly or it comes off, which defeats the purpose of using it. It is not very easy to clean, for onions and peppers etc it cleans fairly easy but anything like mushrooms etc that I really wanted to use it for it takes a long long time to get all the pieces of food out to clean it. It is much faster to just grab a knife and chop them. The biggest reason I wanted this was to replace my mandolin and make it a multi-use item to be able to also chop with it. The only "slices" it makes as a mandolin are paper thin. So completely worthless. I tried 2 times to use paper thin veggies and its just awful. You cant cook them without them either just burning to a crisp or basically just disappearing. All in all this takes up way more space than my old mandolin, its much faster and easier cleanup to juts grab a knife to quickly chop something, and even if I do try and use it, I have to use it so slowly in order to prevent the lid from coming off that its not even worth it. I do not recommend. I wish I had just returned it and got my money back.

I have Fibromyalgia and tremors, so I do not have average strength. I got this for my safety while cutting vegetables. Even my husband was surprised how much strength he had to use for the chop feature. Then there is the slice feature...wear a cut-proof glove! It will slice your finger just by looking at it, and I was really being careful!!! But hand tremors don't help either.
Cleaning was a pain because you have to work so close to all the sharp blades. Food gets stuck in the green chop "pusher", aggravating to get out even using the tool provided. Because you will still have to cut veg to fit into the chopper/slicer, you have to clean the chopper/slicer AND the knife and cutting board. This was not a good fit for me.
We returned this chopper/slicer.

Kept seeing similar looking items demonstrated on YouTube, by people who were not selling them nor even recommending any brand. One lady even said she got it years ago, used. I was excited to get one. Hoped to reduce the fatigue and arm pain from all the dicing every year. Nope, not with this brand/model/item/unknown reason it doesn't work.
Someone wrote a great review, around the same time I received mine. Explaining with visuals how awful this thing can be, although theirs seemed to cut slightly better, ha. There is no way it could cut half an onion into pieces. Of ANY size.
I put a tiny almost pearl size half in there, and you can't get it to do more than mash it up, while putting half your body weight on the lid. (That the plastic top didn't break was surprising though.) It can sort of cut a thin slice of onion, with a ton of waste. (See other review photos of the smash mush waste.) After cutting an onion into thin slices, I've done half the work anyway. (Although that's a terrible way to normally efficiently mince/dice and more work than necessary.)
One thin slice of onion, which then gets partly diced, partly mashed, with a lot of muscle and weight on top of the plastic is not, in any way, some improvement over a cutting board and a knife. The tomato trial was actually worse. Can mash a tomato easier, with my bare hands. Seriously. Tried that because I was so mad.
Surprised to see it arrive with bits of onion in the cutting grids, but hoped that was QA. After attempting to use this item now, I have a different guess. It's perhaps from a frustrated return, resold as new. This item doesn't work, and on top of not working to dice anything, it's a nightmare to clean.
Cleaning issues are detailed better in other reviews, but I probably would have decided to tolerate that if it worked for dicing in the first place. Had this item worked, like I see those not terribly muscular ladies using their similar items, getting through 20 lbs of onions, tomatoes, etc., in one day, then tediously cleaning it...yes, good trade off.
However, I don't know if there is an item like this being sold currently that actually works, so I'm back to knife and cutting board. This non-functional item got returned. Even though I hate to return anything, due to the long trip into town. As far as I'm concerned though, the particular item I received is an outright scam. Didn't test the shredding, grating, slicing aspects, because I have a manual salad maker that works great for those applications.

1.0 out of 5 stars Sliced Plastic In Your Food In 2 Easy Steps!
Reviewed in the United States ???? on December 3, 2022

I really, really wanted to like this item. It saves so much time in dicing and slicing carrots and potatoes. But ever since I noticed that it was slicing the green plastic press into the bottom reservoir along with whatever food I was slicing, I've been very wary about using it. It's honestly such bad design that this can even happen. I was actually genuinely shocked when I looked into my tub of freshly sliced potatoes and noticed small slices of green plastic mixed amongst them. I tried washing the bin out, but who knows if there were small leftovers I missed. I thought maybe it was a one off, but I tried again a few days later, and the same thing happened. Now I'm too afraid to even use it out of fear of missing some of the plastic and accidentally ending up consuming some.
The thing also kind of sucks to clean too. It is dishwasher safe which helps. But the food gets stuck very easily in the blades, and even going through the dishwasher doesn't get it out. The blades are sharp and there's very little space between them, so it's very hard to clean those bits out by hand. The little scraper they included also looks like it's supposed to help scrape out any food stuck in the gaps of the green plastic press bit. But in a display of incompetence that'd be almost laughable if it wasn't so sad, the spacing between the forks of the scraper and the spacing of the gaps on the plastic press are different, so the scraper can't just slide right through the gaps for an easy clean. You have to use force to bend the forks to get them in, and as soon as it passes one of the cubes on the press, you have to repeat the process because they bend back. It's not even remotely worth it. I've actually all but given up on using the scraper to try to clean it and instead just use a butter knife. But that's also a massive pain in trying to get every little bit of food out.
Honestly, this thing is great at quickly chopping/dicing/slicing stuff in different manners. But unfortunately, it seems that the company that made this also decided to make it the most unhygenic and unhealthy contraption they possibly could. I cannot recommend it because of that. I'm honestly tempted to just throw it out even though it's only seen a handful of uses. I hope there exists an alternative without these flaws, but whether one does or not, this ain't it.

1.0 out of 5 stars Horrible, rickety, caused a big mess

I had the 4-blade chopper from Mueller and loved it for the most part (despite a blade recall for safety - they sent me a completely new one at no charge). The lid snapped in and fit snugly and essentially served as a Tupperware-like container once the salad was ready (albeit with a strange, bladed top). I used it mostly to make Israeli salad which requires chopped cucumber, tomato, peppers and sometimes other vegetables like carrot or avocado. You have to apply significant pressure in order to cut the harder vegetables- but any of them, really. Not an issue, just used my bodyweight to lean a bit more heavily on the cover. Because of the recall, I had an extra set/spare bottom container which made cleaning easier since I could just throw one in the dishwasher and use the other in the meantime.
A few months ago, when my parents were visiting, they loved it so much that I gave it to them on the spot and said I would buy another. Saw this one which was newer and seemed cooler with more blade options! I hoped/assumed it would be compatible with my spare plastic container. It wasn't, which was a minor bummer. Instead it had a different sized bottom and top. No big deal, I thought to myself!
Until I actually started using this!! Omg I've never seen a worse design in my life. As opposed to the first set I had, this one did not fit snugly AT All or snapped in, rather it was only snapping in on one side while the other was loose. I tried a couple of times to snap it in on the other side, but there was just no mechanism to do so. OK, whatever, I didn't think much of it until I started chopping. On just the second or third round of veggies going into the machine, one edge of the bladed lid flew out of the bottom, while the other edge stayed securely attracted, thus propelling the entire thing up and over. Veggies sprayed everywhere, bladed lid was blade up, and I was just lucky no one got hurt. Horrible horrible. What a mess to clean up. Never again. I'm going back to the old model and just hope it still fits with my spare. From a well known brand name like Mueller, to have such a shoddy design is unconscionable. I bet you they will be recalling this one in a matter of a few months as well. Shame on you Mueller, I expect better.

Never met a Müeller I didn't absolutely love...until now.
So frustrated with this Pro-Series slicer/chopper/mincer I can hardly see straight. And further correspondence with the company took it to a new level.
Simple get-to-the-point review: it will not mince onions in any way, shape, angle or form; period
>>> The various dicing and mincing inserts ARE NOT SHARP BLADES <<< they are just plain metal, depending upon downward force to (attempt to) make the food comply.
I tried several different onions, I tried different size dicers, I cut the onions down to size to fit within the device parameters, I changed the direction of the layers of the onions when pre-cutting, pressed with all my might and weight...oh my gosh, same result: stuck & cannot force onion thru the dicer. When all is said & done, the onion pieces that did make it through the dicer are still not small enough...requiring a visit to the chopping block.
Nightmare to clean the dicing blade and the template that pushes the onion. Water ?? gets stuck inside the dicer housing, swishing around. The cute little teeth scraper thingy was inadequate.
Monumental waste of time. I used a stop watch ? and start to finish (onion peel to clean up), using this product was 6 times longer than cutting an onion by hand (knife).
Several email exchanges with Müeller on this matter, because I couldn't figure out what was wrong. They sent me video tutorials and said they would share my issues with applicable departments. In the end, they recommended that I just use the vegetable slicer instead. Say what?
None the less, we returned this 10-in-1 gizmo and offering this review to those looking for onion dicing truth. We still love our other products from them, leaving us to shake our heads though.

This thing is a big huge steaming pile of TURD. I'd try to get a refund for it, but I ended up smashing it into a million pieces, throwing it into a trash bag, taking a whiz on it while in trash bag, doused it with a gallon of gasoline and BURNT IT TO A CRISP (F you LEO and other haters, it was worth doing it).
Don't be fooled by their stupid inserts begging for great reviews and free products. I got one w/ their stupid robot thing, a potato peeler. That met its demise as well, as it was equally as worthless as this piece of garbage.
Try to stick a green bell pepper thats half rotted in the dicer? Nope. It'll get caught up. I hit it with a hammer to drop the gizmo down to slice it. Nothing whatsoever slices in this thing, no matter how much prep work you've done (ie, you take all this time to slice up a TOMATO into quarter inch pieces so this thing can handle it .... Nope, it still won't. It'll stop and get stuck). It is literally the WORST kitchen gizmo I have ever purchased and I wish nothing but MISFORTUNE on the people that sell, and market this worthless piece of garbage. Don't believe me? LOOK ON YOUTUBE. There's HULK men on there pushing with all their might to slice up a half in slice of onion. It's pure crap. Don't buy the BS ratings, they are buying the ratings by offering you coupons if you post a good review (NOT HAPPENING) and other worthless gizmos in addition. THIEVES THIEVES THIEVES.

I thought this would be great because of all of the high ratings but I couldn’t even use it. I tried several times to chop an different veggies and could not get the lid to go down to actually push them through the blades. The prongs of the grid need to be longer to actually push the food through the blades.
The cleaning of the blade and grid are both tedious. I used the provided fork and rinsed as best I could and even after running the dishwasher there was still food in both.
The plastic feels very cheap and not quality at all.
After giving this a try, I’ve decided it will be quicker and less hassle to just cut by hand.

I got this for dicing, which it will do, if you have really strong hands and are willing to risk breaking it.
I started with half an onion. I read over the instructions, which tells you nothing on how to prep the food, like it has to be cut smaller than the size of the dicer grid. It doesn't trim off any overhang. It just jams up. I also learned it doesn' t like really thick items. You have to slice you onion first. After we got through all that it did make nice diced pieces. OK, I could work with that. BUT then I tried to clean it. Bits of onion were jammed up between the pegs, and the cleaning tool was not removing them. I finally got them out by using a strong spray, a knife, a scrub brush and the dishwasher. It took forever.
There is lots of safety information, and it points out there are boxes to keep blades from being loose in the drawer, but as these have no top you have to be sure the are kept upright.

I’ve used this a handful of times over the last couple of months and I’m pretty disappointed. At first I was really excited but the main feature I was excited about is awful. I wanted to use this to dice tomatoes and onions but it just smashes them and gets stuck in the top part that pushes it through the blades. It’s marginally helpful for its mandolin slicer but that’s about it. I really wanted to like this product

The only to chop things such as onion is to apply extreme force or sudden force on the top that trigger these onions to be chopped. If you are lucky these will go through in single shot in potato blade(much bigger than onion blades). But with onion blades no chance, the worst is that onion get stuck in the quart or most chunk are left behind which you need to managed. The onion blade will require to clean the square that block before you can try other half or quarters of onion. The worst part is that force will break the housing or the press.
Very disappointing!

The thing is really useless. For everything. I thought the mandolin is intended to be used in the kitchen to ease the prep work but NO! It is not easy at all! To shred the carrot it is a nightmare! 2 rows of grating knives?? You can stand there half of the day trying. After fail I thought maybe chopping tool will be more useful. No! The carrot doesn't get through even if you stand on it! I imagine it is useful to chop only soft veggies like boiled potato, eggs, tomato for salads. The time comes to wash the thing. Oh! This is not for the lighthearted people either! You have to get all the little particles of food from every nook and cranny of the thing and you can do it for hours with the knife and the special brush to get everything out. In the end, back to regular 4sided grater and knife with the cutting board.
