Great flashlight if you're looking for an adjustable beam and removable 18650 battery. I like the spot/focused light for detailed work or trying to see farther away. The flood light is great for walking at night or lighting a larger work area. Battery life is very good. I wish Anker would sell the battery separately though

BUY NOWyou could buy a replacement from them. The battery is very well made and has some weight to it (not light as a feather like some cheap batteries). I do not believe the battery has a built in temperature monitor/safety, in case anyone was wondering about that.

If it's as good as it seems, great flashlight
I loved my Sterlite Flashlights, but cumbersome charger and now n/a, so I checked reviews of this. I've never tried this type of USB charged flashlight and Seller said it REQUIRES A1 adapter to recharge, but no specific link. So I tried looking at several 'adapters', 'chargers for Anker flashlights', etc., but couldn't figure out where USB connection was.
But I took a chance that I would figure it out, and just bought a USB wall plug. Received flashlight, plugged it into the usb on the wall outlet, and it started charging....EASY.
Even better, this light was much brighter and a lot cheaper. So, if this Anker holds up well, I am very pleased, especially if it doesn't get hot after a few minutes like my other rechargeable flashlight did.

Being very legally blind ,one eye totally blind I depend on light which my retinal disease can no longer produce.I have to be able to see my dog when I let him out at night or early morning. But this flashlight has become more than just dog purpose. It helps me in my home in much of my activities. This flashlight is amazing , easy to zoom , very bright , rechargeable,fits in my pocket. Also 18 month warranty - thanks Anker for that. These flashlights will make great Christmas presents ! Great reasonable price. So easy to use for a senior ( over 65 ) I appreciate this more than I can say. Thank you very much !
AMAZING customer support
Got this in February to replace an old flashlight my husband had. This morning, 3-5, it wouldn't charge. Called Amazon and they gave me the direct customer service line to Anker. Seems mine has a faulty charging port. A new one is on its way to me as a warranty replacement.. It still had enough charge to be able to light up, so we knew it wasn't the battery, bulb or connections. They were great to deal with and I had no issues.
I suppose the only thing that I would warn you of is to be gentle with the charging port when you plug in or unplug your flashlight, in that it seems that it is slightly delicate. Since it isn't exposed, I know nothing got into it externally if it came in contact with dirt or water. I will make sure that it is carefully handled from now on.
Otherwise, it has great lumens and zooms in and out really easily. I would highly suggest using them.
amazing brightness
Bought this for my daughter and her boyfriend for camping along with a holster so they could always have it at their side. Last summer they had a scary incident during the night which was probably several mountain lions. However, they didn't have a flashlight and could only see several sets of gleaming eyes staring at them. This flashlight is so bright that they would not only have seen what was there, but would have also scared them off. I love it so much that I'm ordering one for myself. I have 2 tiny, 5# dogs. An owl has taken a dive a one before. Night hunters don't like light, and this sucker is bright, bright, bright.
spot light is amazing
This flashlight is the best. I have charged it once at this point and have yet to need to charge again since purchase. This is with nightly use to watch my dogs in the backyard at night and my 3 year old playing around. Very durable material and I love the versatility of being able to adjust the light aperture. You can not go wrong with this and I look forward to using it for camping, electricity outages, etc. Would also make for a great flashlight for evening delivery people to see addresses, which is difficult. The beam shines very bright and very far.
