I got this because I've been making a lot of trips lately that require me to use my phone's GPS (waze fan here!)
I have been leaving it in my cup holder, but there is a lot of glancing down and trying to make out how far upcoming turns are and I wanted to reduce the distance between my eyes and the phone as well as how low
it is.
The way my dash is set up leaves me with little options for holders that attach that way. It would block my radio or other controls so this seemed like a good compromise.
It is! Love this - it keeps my phone very high and the swivel feature means I can do portrait or landscape with ease. The adjustable grip around the phone is very easy to use. It is true, if you have a case on your phone, it won't click in as well, but mine is thin so I can still use this with no problem.
There were little bumpers included to help make the adjustable cup holder part bigger, which I needed. It would have been too loose otherwise.
