Best Water Bottle Ever!
I have many water bottles and recently got rid of most of them. This water bottle is so perfect! Its even
better than I thought. It's thin but holds a lot, it's light weight and what I was looking for was the kind top it

had. It locks closed but with a push of a button, it pops open and has a spout that's not too big and not too small. I hate the ones that you have to suck or squeeze the water out of. My favorite part that is, it has a drainer type cover that fits on the inside of the bottle. It's so perfect because you can infuse fruit or add ice and the pieces won't come through as you're drinking. I'm going to have to buy another one because my son has already told me that he's not promising to steal it from me.
Buy it!
Just got this bottle today. Right away I washed and have been drinking out of it. It is exactly what I was looking for. It is 32oz tall and slim so it can fit in the cup holder in my car, it has an air return so the water flow is fast. The top clicks open and it also has a little lock to keep it shut when needed. Also has a little basket that you could put fruit in to flavor your water... i am in love, i will update if i run into any problems with it, but first impression it's perfect and well worth the money
Update: almost a month after purchasing, and using everyday, I somehow lost the silicone from the lid that closes over the sip spout (to make it leak proof) contacted seller to try to buy a replacement piece since I hated the thought of purchasing an entire new bottle just for the lid. They responded within 3 hours letting me know that unfortunately they do not currently offer replacement pieces like that, but they were able to ship me a brand new bottle, no worries for me... if I ever break this thing I will definitely buy another one! Customer service just sold it that much more.. thank you so much embrava!!
Update 7/28/18 --- I have had this for over a year now and still use it every single day. My cats have pushed it off the counter a few times and it has not broken yet (fingers crossed I don't jinx it) I drink so much more water with this bottle. It is impossible to find a bottle like this in stores. (My boyfriend keeps trying but I keep telling him just to buy this one) if your looking at this bottle, buy it!
Update 1/4/19 --- I purchased a second bottle in the blue color. Bought because it went on sale, I still have the original grey bottle and have had no issues with it! Do yourself a favor and and make the purchase!
Best Water Bottle I've Ever Owned
I've owned a lot of water bottles over the years, from glass, to plastic with bladders, to aluminum, to everything in between, but this product has been the best all around water bottle overall.
Pros:
-Durability: I have dropped this bottle many times since I have had it ( some from multiple feet off the ground onto hard surfaces) and it still looks and functions like it just came out of the box. I have not experienced any of the bottom cracking issues I have seen mentioned in other reviews, so this issue may have been fixed before I received my product.
-Functionality: One of the best parts of this bottle is that it does not compromise on function. The cap itself features a button that allows you to quickly open the bottle with one hand and also seals the bottle well when it is closed and includes a lock that is easy to open and close with one hand. The cap fits on snugly and does not leak, and when the cap opens there is a stopper that prevents cap from hitting the bottle and makes it easier to close. The water spout is also an excellent design and allows a smooth flow of water that does not require you to bite down on it and gradually damage the product. There is also a convenient removable ice catcher that is a great bonus. The strap is also is very durable and flexible, which is a major improvement on other bottles I've used either with hard plastic straps or no straps at all.
-Design: The model I have is the 32 oz Gray bottle and it certainly looks good sitting on my desk. The size of the bottle is one of my favorite parts since I drink a lot of water during the day and the extra size over most 18-24oz reusable bottles makes it last much longer. The frosted finish on the bottle also looks nice and keeps the bottle mostly scratch free. The strap also has a nice black and white pattern that makes it stand out a bit more.
-Taste: The taste of the water coming coming out of the bottle has always been a make or break point for me. This bottle does an excellent job of keeping water tasting like water, about the same as with a glass bottle, but with less weight. As mentioned earlier, the water also flows very well which only helps the drinking experience. However, I have never put anything in this bottle besides water, so with other liquids your mileage may vary. Since I only use water, I rarely clean the bottle and it does a great job staying clean and has not affected the taste.
Cons:
- The only con I have with this bottle is the design of the air hole above the drinking spout. This is only a minor con, but the placement of the air hole, which allows for the excellent flow of water, spills out tiny amounts of water on to yourself if you are not used to drinking out of the bottle. Even if your drinking technique is perfect this can still happen to you, especially with a full bottle, so a slight design change might be in order.
With all of the pros and cons said, this is an excellent water bottle and the best one I've ever used. The one con may be a bigger issue for others, but I can easily overlook it since the rest of the bottle is excellent and that con has an important function. I highly recommend this product and I'm sure if you are looking for a durable, high capacity, highly functional water bottle you will not be disappointed.
Great sport Bottle
Great sport Bottle!!!
I have tried several and had one that I've used the last year. It started leaking every trip to the gym. It got so I had to get extra paper towels to mop up the water from my bottle on the elliptical, bike or whatever when I was finished. I have only used this bottle once but already like it better than any others I have tried. I've written a few reviews as I very much appreciate other reviews and rely on everyone else when I'm making a buy decision. This is one of the first posts where I am including pictures to best share why I think this is the best sports bottle on the market. Its not cheap, but its worth the price in my opinion.
Removable Filter - There is a removable filter just under the screw on lid that holds the water back so you don't get a shower when you want a drink. I thought the filter would hinder the flow but it actually lets quite a bit of water through at just the right rate.
Air Hole - allows you to take a long pull without slopping water around.
Flip top Lid - As others have commented on can be opened with just one hand which makes it convent at the Gym.
Snap Lock - Great feature. I don't use it much going to the Gym but could see where that would be a nice asset backpacking
Spout Closure - When you close the top cover, there is a clear hard gel that nicely supports the drinking Spout so that even without the Snap lock, water will not leak out of this bottle
The Search is Over
I'm a huge fan of this water bottle. I took advantage of the 15%-off deal for the 32 oz. + 18 oz. set and have subsequently become an evangelist of the Word of Embrava to friends and family. After owning, testing, and researching plastic, glass, and stainless steel bottles over the years, I have finally found everything I wanted in a water bottle, just the way I wanted it.
• Perfect size—this may not be unique to the brand, but finding this size with all the other features I wanted IS. It's just large enough I only have to fill this 3 times to meet my daily hydration needs. Any smaller and I've lost count by noon; any bigger and it won't fit in any size cupholder.
• Fast flow—as one other reviewer said, "No more sucking on weird plastic nipples!" Important when you're trying to sip gracefully in front of 26 snickering college kids. Drinking, pouring, filling and cleaning are all easy and straightforward.
• No facial assault—the lid has a bump on the hinge that catches and holds it open while you drink. I worry that this might wear down after a lot of use, but 1) the quality is such that I doubt it, and 2) I'd happily buy a replacement anyway.
• One-handed operation—this is SO KEY for me. Even locked, it's easy to flip down the locking catch, push the button which releases the lid with enough pressure that it automatically catches on the hinge-lock (I often guide it with my finger because it really pops out there). One finger to close & latch, then thumb the lock back into position. AMAZING.
• Secure lid—there are nifty little rubber stoppers on the inside of the flip cap that seal the drinking & air openings, and the outside of the lid fits securely (although not airtight) against the surface. It's ridiculous how klutzy and distracted I get when I'm working, and those seals has saved more than one electronic gadget from drowning.
• Beautiful design—like an Italian leather motorcycle jacket, this little star is elegant, sporty and a bit tough. The exterior is durable, BPA-free uninsulated plastic in a soft, frosted matte grey. The graphics feature clean white sans-serif type ("Fortune favors the brave" and "Embrava") and the ram logo. I'm a designer, so yeah—looks matter (I'm a little shallow that way).
• Extra secure lanyard—I can attest to this because the first thing I did was try to remove it on both bottles. It's doable, but it takes some commitment, patience and dexterity. No need for an arm workout that day.
The one and only tiny, whiny complaint I have was that I had to learn to sip a little differently (to be fair, many new water bottles have required some adaptation on my part). My first attempt to drink straight on got me a poke in the chin from the latch and a close call with the lid, which I hadn't pushed far enough open. I've since formed the habit of turning the bottle a few degrees clockwise so my chin doesn't touch the latch and I can see clearly over the top of the bottle; I can totally live with that.
Embrava water bottle, don't change a thing—you're perfect just the way you are. (Except maybe to market different colors with different inspirational quotes? You heard it here first!)
Great Waterbottle!
I typically do not like water bottles that force me to put my whole mouth around the opening. I have always preferred small openings that require just your bottle lip to be on the outside of the opening, where your top lip acts as the "flood gates" if you will.
This water bottle does not allow that to be possible. It's too small for that "style" of drinking.
However. Everything about this water bottle is amazing. It for one looks AWESOME. The lid locking mechanism feels very sturdy and extremely satisfying to open. The fact that it's 32oz and fits in any cup holder is a great feature as well.
This bottle deserves no less than 5 stars in my opinion.
My only complaint with this guy is that the little air hole in the lid will squirt you if you don't follow the instructions embrava gives you. Which makes me enjoy the fact that they even wrote that in their instructions. But yeah, if you tip the water bottle back too quickly to take a swig, a small drop of water will shoot out of that air hole onto your face. So you just gotta get used to tilting it a little slower ;)

It is a really good bottle. Switched from a Camelback because the Camelback leaked. I drink a sports drink that is fruit punch and was sick of it leaking pink all over everything. This does not leak... but... when you tip it up, if it's bounced around the fluid gets on the cap and it can drip on you... but, if the bottle is stable (like in a cup holder) it does not leak at all. It opens with a little flip button and I have concern over it's longevity, but for now will trust that it is going to last. Also the bigger size is GREAT!!!
After about 90 days my seal started to leak. So I looked up the company and asked if I could buy a new lid. The Customer Service was A+ and they sent me a brand new bottle. WOW. I would give this bottle as a present! The flip button remained stable. Also, I do not put this bottle in the dishwasher... never have. I just rinse it in warm soapy water and never any mold. A great water bottle!
Best water bottle ever! (Update 3/27/2018)
I have owned more water bottles than I can count and this is hands down the best one I have owned. The design is flawless. It looks sleek and unlike many other water bottles, it fits in my car’s cup holder. I love the strap and the easy open and close cover. The absolute best feature though is the spout and how fast the water comes out. You will not be sorry if you purchase this item and actually, I am going to buy another one.
Update 3/27/2018: Unfortunately, my bottle broke shortly after returning from vacation in Feb. Even though I don’t use the lock, that mechanism broke off and couldn’t be put back together so the flip top would no longer catch. I’m not giving up tough and bought another one. Hopefully this one will last longer!
Good, large, easy one handed use water bottle.
Very good water bottle. I admit I have only had it for a few days, and I have not tried anything besides water to see if the taste of drink mixes or teas linger. It does, however, have a number of benefits that I really like, including the strap (if you really don't want the strap, I'd cut off the plastic ring it's attached to instead of the strap itself, but that's just me) and size.
Pluses include a very large capacity while maintaining the ability to use standard cup holders, and a very easy pour because of the air hole located on the lid near the hinge. Water comes out very easily. Some reviewers complained about the lid latch touching their chins - it does touch my beard (just barely), and didn't bother me.
The lid firmly flips open and stays, so you can do one handed drinking from this bottle, which is always nice.
It came with extra bits to replace the rubbery parts that wear out.
A bit pricey; I'd rather have had glass at this price - not completely sold on co-polyester, but at least we know it's not BPA laden.
