I was looking for a spring/fall jacket for Chicago weather. This is nice canvas-like material, soft jean-like cotton material on the inside. No insulation. Nice stitching with metal button and snaps. Grey color is not grey as you would think of, but more of a deep smokey blue. So the photo on the listing is true to the color,
which is what I had hoped for. I bought an XL. I am 6 feet, 200, somewhat broad shoulders, no real tummy.
BUY NOWI tried the L size and it fit, but zipping it up, the bottom of the coat was pretty tight and the shoulders fit, but did not leave any room to move freely. If you were to wear it as an accessory, I could see it working. I bought mine for use and movement. Very nice. I really dig it. And the price was fantastic. Two thumbs up.
Lots of Compliments Received
The first time I wore this jacket in public I got lots of compliments for it. This means a lot because, as a guy, I rarely get any. It keeps me warm in even 0°F weather, so I'd say the warmest weather to wear this in without getting too hot is around 40-50°F.
The only downsides I've found is that it gets dirty pretty quickly, and it comes out of the dryer covered in lint. There's probably a way to avoid that but it's not that noticeable unless you're looking for it, so I just leave it.
As for sizing, I'm 5'9 with semi-wide shoulders and around 155lbs. I originally ordered a medium and it was pretty big on me so I exchanged for a small and it fit perfectly.
Perfect for tall, slim, fit man.
My 21 y/o son is 6'4" tall 190 lbs with broad shoulders, long limbs and small waist/hips. He has a hard time finding clothes that are well-fitted (tee shirts that are long enough are often boxy and wide on him).
The large fits him perfectly and is super flattering. He loves it. it accommodates his shoulders and fits around his hips.
Great jacket that fits perfectly
I'm 6'2", 200 lbs and the Large size fits perfectly. Very comfortable and perfect for spring. Love the clips on the pockets to that things can't fall out. Also nice to have an inside pocket. Quality seems good. My family says the jacket looks great too :)
Would Recommend
Very nice looking jacket. It’s thin and not meant for cooler weather, but I’m good with that. Fits as expected. I wear a L / XL and it fits nice. Would recommend.
Better than expected
I was just looking for a stylish jacket, warmth and durability were honestly not top priority. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I received this product. It's currently January, 2019 and it is brutal cold outside, but I only need a hoodie and this jacket and I am as warm as I would be in any other winter coat. The stitching and material also make it almost as rugged as a Carhartt too.
My new favorite jacket for cold days
This jacket is very well made and comfortable, good for cool to cold days, but not for the freezing days. I did have to return the XL for a 2XL due to the tight fir in the chest and arms. I normally wear XL shirts and jackets, and this would have worked, but went with the larger size to allow for layering and a looser fit.
