I bought these December 2018, and it's now March 2019 and they've completely stopped working. I bought two, one for each monitor. If you have more than one, programming them separately, or even turning them on/off separately is pretty close to impossible. Programming was a headache in and of itself. Finally, after
about an hour of tinkering, I got both to a nice bright purple I liked. About three weeks ago, one of them
BUY NOWturned to the dimmest lighting and doesn't respond to the remote... at all. The other was working okay until tonight, when it decided it doesn't want to do anything. So I got two months out of one set and three out of another. It's pathetic and I will not be purchasing these again.
Great solution for our 49" TV
We're really happy with this backlight kit. On our other TV we have an older white-only strip. The ability to adjust the color and brightness is a big improvement. It is also very convenient to have the LEDs powered off of the TV's USB plug which turns on the lights whenever the TV is on. The seller is also really helpful... after a few months our first order would flicker occasionally, I contacted them through Amazon and they immediately sent a replacement. I believe the problem was the result of a fairly loose USB port on the TV (we relocated the strip for ambient lighting in another room and it seems to work fine).
Sizing: The 49" TV in the picture has the strip placed horizontally across the middle of the TV. The setting is at about 75% full brightness. I would think that this would produce similarly satisfactory results on a TV up to about 65"

This is a great product especially for the price, now the strip does not go completely around the TV as their thumbnail picture would have you believe but that the strip you get is more than enough believe me.. Very easy to install, the remote control is extremely simple, you increase or decrease the brightness multiple Colors or pulsating flashing lights if you choose, whatever you're into! Great product
Very good result
I installed these stripes on my kitchen cabinets, and the result is really amazing. I waited a while before posting a review, because the first set I received malfunctioned after a week, but the company was quite responsive and sent me a replacement. It has been running now for several months, and I like it a lot, the effect is really nice.

Christmas lights all year?
It's fun to use for nieces, nephews and friends kids. The backlight is helpful while they watch the television screen and I have them on all 5 of my computer screen to reduce eye strain as well.
Remote is easy to understand and use, and color of the paint the screen is against actually reflects the light back at an even different color...ex. I have a light blue wall and when I use the yellow button from the light strip it blasts an interesting slime/lime green color.

Great accent to your viewing experience
These really enhance your movie viewing experience. I don’t think I’ll ever have a Television without these on the back. One strand seems to be more than enough. I like it as a simple accent, any more lighting would be to much. The adhesive is pretty strong no issues with slippage or peeling off. 5 stars would and will purchase again.
Amazing
Sort of potato photos, but trust me, these lights are amazing! Was surprised at the ease of installation. Just peel off 3M backer, fit to surface and plug in via USB. They were exactly what I was looking for! The even include some extra 3m tape which you can use to mount the remotes or do otherwise. Couldnt be happier. Be careful with the backer on 3m. I ended peeling off some of the (silicate?) strip rather than the backer when I wasnt paying attention.
