I have degenerative disc disease and fibromyalgia. I flew from Wisconsin to Colorado and drove back all in three days. This cushion helped immensely. My butt never went numb, my sciatica never got pinched, and my back was not as painful as it should have been. (Nothing can make pain disappear.) It helped my posture and pressure on my lower back. FINALLY SOME RELIEF FOR MY SCIATICA!!
I have suffered for over 10 years with chronic back pain and excruciating sciatica. The back pain is constant, and the sciatica comes and goes. Sometimes just for a few hours, and sometimes for weeks or months. I've tried many different pillows over they years, and this is by far the best one for some relief while sitting. I am currently using this one on my computer chair, but have used it on my recliner, as well, as the sciatica doesn't care how comfortable the chair is. They are all the same with sciatica. This really has helped me, and I am thinking about purchasing an additional one for my car. It has a removable cover to machine wash, however I am concerned about the non slip underside. Obviously it does not go in the dryer, but I will come back and let you know if I wash it. I actually have a pillow case on mine just so it doesn't get dirty. I am very pleased with this product overall.
The Best Cushion I have Found!
I bought this after reading the reviews and after trying several others that I sent back. I could not get along without it. I fell in December and fractured my pelvis.
The only way i could be in any way comfortable was lying in an adjustable bed. That gets old! After I got the ComfiLife Comfort Seat Cushion, I got some of my life back! I can go out to eat with friends, watch television sitting up and even play on my computer. I have a friend who suffered the same accident several years ago & after she tried my cushion at lunch one day, she ordered two; one for the house & one for the car. She has recommended it to several friends with different conditions that make sitting painful.
It is light weight & easy to carry with the attached handle. I keep one in the car so I don't forget to take it.
I am also a small boned woman with very little padding, so comfort is very important.

I work a desk job and sit nearly my entire 40 hours. I also sit more than I'd like to admit at home. I bruised my tailbone somehow and it became painful enough that I bought this cushion. I've been using it nearly 2 months and it's helped immensely. I would say this cushion is "one size fits most." I read a few negative comments about it being too small or too big. If someone is much larger or smaller than average it may not work, but I'm 5'6" and 160 pounds and it does the trick for me. Others also complained it loses shape or becomes flat instantly. I've not had that experience--it's about 2" thick and will reduce in thickness when sat upon, but not to the point of uselessness...unless you are a very large person. It's been very helpful to me. Be sure to place the cushion so that the hole is directly beneath your tailbone (this relieves the pressure!)
Arrived quickly, works great.
I work at home and I sit at a computer five days a week, at least six hours a day--now and for the past 30 years or so. Over time, even with my expensive desk chair built to be easy on the back and my healthy lifestyle and regular exercise, including a lot of effective back stretches and conditioning, my sciatic nerve on one side is really acting up. I've only had this cushion for a few days, but I am noticing a marked difference already. The construction of the ComfiLife cushion redistributes the weight, takes it off my spine. Very happy with this purchase.
Comfortable Seat Cushion
Happy, Happy customer! I drive a truck for a living and spend upwards of 4-5 hours at a time behind the wheel (so sitting in uncomfortable stiff seats). This cushion is a back saver, it is very comfortable, but more importantly has taken the pressure off my lower back (took some adjustment and getting used to a proper seating position on my part). And for those of you who worry about it supporting larger persons and heavier weights? I can report it that it does a great job I have had no issues with flattening out or movement under me (I am 6' 0" and weigh in at 240 lbs, also remember the environment i I am using this cushion in is constantly changing). Long-winded, but let me sum it up by saying completely satisfied with this product (will update in 90 days to see how it last)!
