We haven’t been able to find ANYTHING that our little girl would allow us to cut her nails with. So I finally quit shopping at the local pet store and came to Amazon! I found this pair right away, read the reviews, and purchased right away.

Our little girl is 9 months old. When she was a tiny puppy my son-in-law tried to cut her nails. He was VERRRRY gentle, but she still HATED it! We haven’t been able cut any of her nails since. She’s a Chauzer, which means she is VERRRY STRONG! She struggled so much each time we went to cut her nails, that we felt like she was going to injure herself. It was so bad!
These clippers made it SO EASY to cut her nails. We cut them once, and it only took about 10 minutes, and she’s no longer scared of getting her nails cut!

So far, working great for my mini dachshund
I have a mini dachshund with black nails and since our longtime vet who was great at trimming her nails unexpectedly passed away, we have been going from vet to vet, having traumatic experiences when cutting her nails. We finally decided we were going to try to do it ourselves since we'd had so many issues, and first tried a Dremel nail grinder, but the noise and sensation scared her, so we returned it. We decided on this product because it had a nail guard, and the issue we've always had is her nails getting cut too short and causing pain. So far, we've only trimmed a few nails, but we've had great success! No squealing and no pain for our dog! The guard works great, and so far it has not been a bad experience for her! It doesn't trim off a whole lot of her nails, but I think its much better that way and we can trim her nails once or twice a week until her quick retracts. I would recommend this product, but read the instructions first, start with just one nail, and give your dog a treat before and after!

Product is great. The guard and safety switch are two features that should be standard with any product like this. Happy to see both come on this gem.
After several youtube videos, practicing with straws and more youtube videos I have built up enough confidence to groom our fur babies at home.
I highly recommend anyone purchasing this product due your research and practice practice practice before using on your pets.
Our Shih tzu and Shih poo have larger than life personalities and attitudes. I am able to clip both of them (while my husband holds them) with no issues. The dogs have no fear of this item. Be aware the clippings will fly in every direction while trimming the nail. This is why I prefer grooming in the garage or laundry room for clean up. Great product.

I've been dreading trimming the nails of my 100 pound GS that doesn't like anything he is not accustomed to. Was easy to use, didn't phase him in any way and simple to use.

Very high quality durable
First....I have 2 90 lbs labs....they are tough to wrestle to clip nails ..so I will have to wait until I have another body to use them. I have purchased nail clippers for over a decade....and paid more....these are heavy duty, feel good in the hand,,,,and super important they have a guard. Best pair of nail clippers I have ever had....this weekend when I have help I will post again and see how well they cut....but I have purchased others....they where not made this well...so that being said already happy...

A very wise purchase
I am really amazed on how well these dog nail trimmers work. I always took my dog to the groomer to get his nails trimmed. Never did think I could do it myself. Well, I thought for half the price of a professional nail trimming I would go ahead and buy these. Great reviews on Amazon. I checked out some YouTube videos on the best way to trim his nails. I found that laying him on his back and relaxing him worked the best. No fights, no tension and he gets his belly rubbed. Thank you so much. I don't even have to worry about cutting his quick. Bonus!
